The BFI IMAX is an IMAX cinema in the South Bank district of London, just north of Waterloo station. It is owned and operated by the British Film Institute. From 2012 until 2022, it was operated by Odeon Cinemas.

Alfonso Brescia was an Italian film director. Brescia began working in film against his father's wishes, and eventually directed his first film Revolt of the Praetorians in 1964. Brescia worked in several genres in the Italian film industry, including five science fiction films he directed following the release of Star Wars. Brescia's work slowed down towards the late 1980s, and his last film Club Vacanze could not get distribution.

Trieste Science+Fiction Festival was founded in 2000 under the name of Science plus Fiction by the Research and Experimentation Centre La Cappella Underground with the ambitious purpose of re-launching the Festival Internazionale del film di fantascienza, which had been held in the northern Italian city of Trieste in the years 1963–1982.

Il sole dei cattivi is the first cinematic film by artist and video maker Paolo Consorti. Filmed in 2013 and divided into two parts, it depicts the Biblical stories of Herod and Caiaphas, but set against a present-day reality show.
