Vindafjord is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Haugaland. Since 2005, the administrative centre of the municipality has been the village of Ølensjøen. Other villages in the municipality include Bjoa, Imslandsjøen, Ølensvåg, Skjold, Vats, Vikebygd, and Vikedal. The municipality is centered on the Vindafjorden and Sandeidfjorden in the east and it lies north and east of the Skjoldafjorden in the west.
Senja (Norwegian) or Sážžá (Northern Sami) is an island in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway, Europe. With an area of 1,586.3 square kilometres (612.5 sq mi), it is the second largest island in Norway. It has a wild, mountainous outer (western) side facing the Atlantic, and a mild and lush inner (eastern) side. The island is located within Senja Municipality, which was established on 1 January 2020. The island of Senja had 7,864 inhabitants as of 1 January 2017. Most of the residents live along the eastern coast of the island, with Silsand being the largest urban area on the island. The fishing village of Gryllefjord on the west coast has a summer-only ferry connection to the nearby island of Andøya: the Andenes–Gryllefjord Ferry.
Tron is a prominent mountain in Innlandet county, Norway. The 1,665-metre (5,463 ft) tall mountain lies on the border of Alvdal and Tynset municipalities, but the peak lies entirely in Alvdal. The mountain lies just to the northeast of the village of Alvdal and just northwest of the village of Tylldalen.
Skyvassnuten is a mountain in the municipality of Bykle in Agder county, Norway. The 1,421-metre (4,662 ft) tall mountain sits just 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) east of the municipal/county border with Rogaland. The lake Skyvatn lies at the eastern foot of the mountain and the mountain Sveigen lies immediately south of the mountain. The lake Holmavatnet lies about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north of the mountain.
Kvitsøy Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse and heritage building in the municipality of Kvitsøy in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located on the west side of the village of Ydstebøhamn on the island of Kvitsøy. The lighthouse marks the entrance to the huge Boknafjorden, the main shipping route to the city of Stavanger, and inland Rogaland county. The first lighthouse at the site was established in 1700, and the present lighthouse was built in 1829. The lighthouse was automated in 1969, and has been a protected historic building since 1998.
Lister Region is a region in Southern Norway. It consist of the municipalities Farsund, Flekkefjord, Hægebostad, Kvinesdal, Lyngdal, and Sirdal. The region borders to Kristiansand Region in the east, Setesdal to the north, and Rogaland County to the west. There are two towns in Lister: Flekkefjord and Farsund.
