Kozhikode, also known as Calicut, is a city along the Malabar Coast in the state of Kerala in India. Known as the City of Spices, Kozhikode is listed among the UNESCO's Cities of Literature.
Kochi, also known by its former name Cochin, is a major port city along the Malabar Coast of India bordering the Laccadive Sea. It is part of the district of Ernakulam in the state of Kerala. LuLu Mall, Kochi is a shopping mall located in Edappally, Kochi, Kerala. It is the second largest mall in Kerala, the largest one being Lulu mall at Thiruvananthapuram.
Khadija Mumtaz is a Malayalam author from Kerala state, India. She is a medical doctor by profession and is probably best known in the Kerala literary circles for her second novel Barsa which won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2010.
Hilite Mall is a shopping mall located in the Kozhikode district in the malabar region of Kerala, India. Mall of Travancore (MOT) is a shopping mall located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Developed by Malabar Group, it is the first shopping mall in Thiruvananthapuram. The Mall was initiated by Malabar Developers in 2014 and was completed in 2018. It covers an area of 700,000 square feet (65,000 m2). This is the second largest mall in Thiruvananthapuram after the Lulu Mall. The mall has three floors of retail space, comprising more than 150 retailers.

South Malabar refers to a geographical area of the southwestern coast of India covering some parts of the present-day Kerala state. South Malabar covers the regions included in present-day Kozhikode and Thamarassery taluk of Kozhikode district, Wayanad district excluding Mananthavady taluk, the whole area of Malappuram district, Chavakkad taluk of Thrissur district, and Palakkad district, excluding parts of Chittur taluk. The Fort Kochi region of Kochi city also historically belongs to South Malabar. The term South Malabar refers to the region of the erstwhile Malabar District south to the river Korapuzha, and bears a high cultural similarity to both the Cochin and the North Malabar regions.

Lulu Mall, Palakkad is a shopping mall located in Palakkad, Kerala, India. It is the third lulu mall in the state of Kerala, located on the Kochi-Salem national highway, around 9km away from city centre in Kannadi, spanning at 2 lakh sq.ft. The mall was inaugurated in December 2023 and houses shops for both domestic and international brands as well as a multi-cuisine food court among other amenities. The property is owned and managed by Abu Dhabi based LuLu Group International.
