Miss Universe Denmark is a national beauty pageant in Denmark that selects the representative to the Miss Universe pageant.
Between 1986 and 1995 Bo Andersen handled the Miss Universe Denmark franchise. From 1996 until 2013, Memborg Models with Lene Memborg operated the franchise. [1] Starting in 2018, Lisa Lents took over the Miss Universe Denmark franchise. The winner of Miss Universe Denmark independent competition holds for the first time in 2019. In 2018 the Miss World Denmark 2016, Helena Heuser won the pageant.
Aino Korva is the only Dane to place in the top 5 at Miss Universe and Žaklina Šojić is the last to place in the top 15, at Miss Universe in 2007.

Supermodel Helena Christensen began her career in 1986 as Miss Universe Denmark. In the same year, Pia Rosenberg Larsen won Miss Denmark and competed at Miss International, where she placed as first runner-up. In 1993, T.V. personality and actress Maria Hirse won Miss Universe Denmark, but like Helena Christensen, failed to place at Miss Universe. [3] [4]

Miss Venezuela is the national beauty pageant of Venezuela, traditionally held in September. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes. The final televised competition generally lasts about four hours and is broadcast live across Latin America by Venevisión and produced by the networks parent company Cisneros Group, with edited versions to the United States and Mexico on the Univision and Telemundo networks. Miss Perú is the national beauty pageant of the Republic of Peru. The contest gathers participants from all over the nation, including Peruvian women representing their community overseas. Having been broadcast by all the major television networks in the country during its history, the pageant is currently broadcast by América Televisión.

Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2021 edition, its winners represent Panama in Miss International, Miss Grand International, and Miss Supranational. The Miss Panama brand started in 1952, when the Panamanian Institute of Tourism received an invitation from Miss Universe to send a representative. In 1975, the Señorita Panamá name was used for the first time, reverting to Miss Panama in 1976. In 1982, Señorita Panamá was created by RPC Channel 4 as an alternative to send its winners to the Miss World contest in London. These pageants, along with smaller pageants such as Miss International Panamá and Miss World Panamá celebrated to select delegates for international representations.
The United States has continuously sent a representative to Miss World since its inception in 1951. The United States has won the Miss World crown three times in 1973, 1990 and 2010. Currently, Miss World America is the official national pageant that selects the contestant from the United States to Miss World.

Miss World Denmark is a beauty pageant that came into existence in 2004 when the Miss Denmark competition split into two separate competitions: Miss World Denmark and Miss Universe Denmark. The former Miss World 2008 contestant Lisa Lents, became the National Director of the pageant the year after her participation. When Lisa Lents represented Denmark at the Miss World competition, Unibet guessed that she would place fifth, while NordicBet guessed that she would come in first as the first contestant from Denmark in history. In the same year that Lents competed in Miss World, she also competed on the Danish National Taekwondo team at the European Taekwondo Championships in Antalya, Turkey.

Miss World 2018, the 68th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 8 December 2018 at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. Manushi Chhillar of India crowned her successor Vanessa Ponce of Mexico at the end of the event. She is the first Mexican woman to win Miss World.
