NBC SportsTalk is a daily sports talk show that aired on American television channel NBCSN named after the various talk sites on the NBCSports.com. It was the flagship show for the network. [1]
NBC SportsTalk launched on September 8, 2011, before the NFL kickoff special in 2011. It competed directly with the 6 p.m. edition of ESPN's SportsCenter . Repeats were aired along the late night.
The original anchor was Russ Thaler, later replaced by Erik Kuselias.
The show asked for input from viewers via Twitter and had its own app for the iOS and Android operating system. Russ Thaler would usually read 1−2 tweets right before the end of each broadcast.
From January 30 − February 3, 2012 the show aired live episodes from Indianapolis, the site of Super Bowl XLVI.
The show is last aired On February 1, 2013, and its slot has been replaced by The Crossover.

The program debuted on September 10, 2006, when the network inaugurated its Sunday prime time game package. The 80-minute program airs live at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and is broadcast from Studio 1 at NBC Sports Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. The postgame show was initially known as Hockey Central, airing from their Stamford, Connecticut studios. With the new contract with NBC beginning in the 2011–12 season, the new pregame show is called NHL Live and the new postgame show is called NHL Overtime, which show the NHL on NBC studio host and analysts, from the NBC and Comcast merger.

From 2006 to 2008, NBC's studio show originally broadcast out of the rink at New York's Rockefeller Center, at the foot of NBC's offices during January and February.
