The National Narcotics Board (Indonesian : Badan Narkotika Nasional, abbreviated BNN) is a government agency of Indonesia. BNN is responsible for minimizing the abuse of controlled substances through prevention and law enforcement measures directed primarily at illegal drug abuse and drug trafficking. [1]
BNN is led by the Head of BNN. The Head of BNN is always an active police officer, however civil servants are allowed to be the Head of BNN. [2] The Head of BNN reports directly to the president and coordinates with the chief of national police.

Law enforcement in Indonesia is mainly performed by the Indonesian National Police (POLRI), together with other law enforcement agencies which are under the president, a certain ministry or State-owned company (BUMN) which perform policing duties for a certain public service, these law enforcement agencies are under supervision and are trained by the Indonesian National Police. The National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure, abbreviated as BNPB, is the Indonesian board for natural disaster affairs. It was established in 2008 to replace the National Disaster Management Coordinating Board. Great Rehabilitation Centre of the National Narcotics Board of Indonesia is a drug rehabilitation centre located in Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The centre, managed by the National Narcotics Board, was inaugurated by Tien Soeharto on 31 October 1974. The rehabilitation centre service is using one stop centre system, which is composed by medical rehabilitation services and social rehabilitation under one roof.
