The Downtown Cody Historic District is the historic core of Cody, Wyoming, USA. "Historic" here refers to the early twentieth century, as Cody was not incorporated until 1901. Most of the commercial district was built between 1901 and the 1930s. The district extends along Sheridan Avenue for two blocks, with buildings of brick and local sandstone with storefront display windows. The chief building in the district is the Irma Hotel, individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Downtown Commercial Historic District in Muscatine, Iowa is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. At that time, it included 93 contributing buildings, one other contributing object, and 18 non-contributing buildings. The city of Muscatine was established as Bloomington in 1836. The original town was built on land that is generally flat along the Mississippi River. Residential areas were located on the surrounding hills. Commercial and industrial interests developed on the flatter land near the river. Muscatine's commercial and industrial center had developed in a 12-block area along Front Street, now Mississippi Drive, and 2nd Street between Pine Street and Mulberry Street by 1874. This area, represented by the Downtown Commercial Historic District, is the city's original commercial area. Within its boundaries is a large number of 19th-century commercial buildings, many of which were modified in the first half of the 20th century.

The Security Building is an historic structure located in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. The building is eight stories tall and rises 117 feet (36 m) above the ground. It was designed by the Cedar Rapids architectural firm of Josselyn & Taylor, and it was completed in 1908. The building was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. In 2015 it was included as a contributing property in the Cedar Rapids Central Business District Commercial Historic District.
The Benson Building, also known as the Union Bus Depot, was an historic building located in downtown Ottumwa, Iowa, United States. The Tudor Revival style commercial building was completed in 1930. The one-story structure was composed of highly textured, painted brick. The façade featured a steeply-pitched gable roof and half-timbering. The building was originally used as an indoor miniature golf course. Its significance was attributed to its architecture. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995 as a part of the Ottumwa MPS. In 2016 it was included as a contributing property in the Greater Second Street Historic District.
The Elkader Downtown Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Elkader, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012. The district cover's the city's central business district, mainly along Main Street, but also along the intersecting side streets as well. Main Street slopes from north to south with a steep drop toward the Turkey River on the east side of the district. Most of the buildings are masonry, two-story, Victorian structures. There are some one- and three-story buildings as well. The Elkader Opera House (1903), which is located in the district, is individually listed on the National Register.
The Mason City Downtown Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Mason City, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. At the time of its nomination it contained 93 resources, which included 63 contributing buildings, one contributing site, four objects, 22 non-contributing buildings, and three non-contributing objects. Platted in 1855, Mason City is a commercial and industrial center for north central Iowa. It was also a railroad center, but the tracks bypassed the central business district in order to serve the industries located on the north side of town and the wholesale enterprises on the south side. Central Park, a public square, was part of the city's original plat and is the contributing site.
The Lander Downtown Historic District comprises the commercial core of Lander, Wyoming. The district includes 16 buildings listed as contributing to the historic district, including a series of commercial buildings, the Noble Hotel, the grand Theatre and the Stockgrower's Bar. The Federal Building is included, and is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well. Most date between 1890 and 1910. Most earlier buildings burned or were torn down and replaced by more permanent masonry structures. By 1910 an oil boom had begun in central Wyoming, providing an incentive to build substantial buildings. The district comprises most of the north side of Main Street between Second Street and Fourth Street, with three properties on the south side and one facing Lincoln Street at Third Street.
The Downtown Corinth Historic District in Corinth, Mississippi is a 31-acre (13 ha) historic district. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993, at which time it included the majority of Corinth's downtown commercial buildings. The street plan of the area was laid out in 1855 by surveyors Houston Mitchell (1824-1877) and Hamilton Mask, who intended for the city to be named "Cross City". The plan conformed to the rights-of-way granted to the Memphis & Charleston Railroad and the Mobile and Ohio Railroad lines; the downtown area evolved from c.1855 to c.1941.
The Cedar Falls Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Cedar Falls, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. It is made up of 59 buildings that were constructed between 1860 and 1960. Of those, 46 were determined to be significantly historic. Four of the buildings were individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in previous years; they include the Black Hawk Hotel (1870), the Odd Fellows Temple (1902), and the Oster Regent Theater (1910).
