The Rushworth line was a short branch line, used predominantly for grain traffic, which branched off the Goulburn Valley Line at Murchison East. It opened in September 1890. [2]

The line was eventually extended to Colbinabbin, opening in August 1914, and a branch from Rushorth to Girgarre opened in May 1917. [1] The line to Girgarre was closed back to Stanhope in 1975, [3] and the remaining sections were closed in October 1987. [4]

The Inner Circle Line was a steam era suburban railway line in Melbourne, Australia. It served the inner-northern suburbs of Parkville, Carlton North, Fitzroy North, and Fitzroy. At its closure, it ran from Royal Park station on the Upfield line in the west, to a triangular junction with Rushall and Merri stations on today's Mernda line in the east. There was also a branch line to Fitzroy that opened at the same time.

Main Southern railway line, New South Wales Railway line in New South Wales, Australia

Wahgunyah railway line

The Wahgunyah railway is a closed railway line in the north-east of Victoria, Australia. Branching off the main North East railway at Springhurst, it ran north to Wahgunyah. The terminus was near the New South Wales Culcairn - Corowa railway, but no bridge was ever provided over the Murray River. As the two lines were of differing gauges and the stations 2.5 kilometres apart there was probably no particular benefit for the expense of building a bridge to connect the two differing systems.

The Yackandandah railway line was a railway line in Victoria, Australia constructed by the Victorian Railways. The line was one of the earliest routes constructed in Victoria, serving the major town in the region of Beechworth that was active in campaigning for a railway to be constructed to serve the town possibly as part of the main route into New South Wales.

Wear Valley Junction railway station was a railway station which primarily served as an interchange between the Wear Valley Line and the Weardale Extension Railway (WXR) between 1847 and 1935. It was the closest railway station to the village of High Grange in County Durham, North East England.
