He has also appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English-language productions. In a career spanning five decades, he has appeared in more than 420 films, predominantly in lead roles. He is the recipient of several accolades, including three National Film Awards, nine Kerala State Film Awards, eleven Kerala Film Critics Awards and thirteen Filmfare Awards South. Shammi Thilakan is an Indian actor and dubbing artist who is active in Malayalam films. He is the son of veteran actor Thilakan. He lent his voice for Napoleon in Devasuram, Prem Nazir in Kadathanadan Ambadi and for Nassar in Ghazal, for which he won a state award for best dubbing artist. Anandavally C. R. was an Indian actress and dubbing artist, who predominantly worked in the Malayalam film industry. She has lent voice to over 5,000 characters in over 2,000 Malayalam movies. Anandavally was the woman behind the voice and one of the senior most dubbing artists in Malayalam cinema. In 1993 alone, Ananadavally dubbed for at least 50 films, lending her voice to lead female characters. This continues to remain among the unbreakable records in Malayalam industry. The dubbing artist had given voice to most of Geetha’s characters in almost all the 50 films she acted in Malayalam. Anandavally was the voice of many strong women characters of the 1980s and '90s, including the much-loved character of Clara that actor Sumalatha played in Thoovanathumbikal.
Lilli is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language revenge thriller film written and directed by Prasobh Vijayan. It was produced by E4 Experiments and distributed by E4 Entertainment. The film began production in early 2017. It won the Kerala State Film Awards for Best Female Dubbing Artist for Sneha.
Manjil Virinja Poovu is an Indian Malayalam-language television drama. It premiered on 4 March 2019 on Mazhavil Manorama everyday at 7.30 PM IST and streams on ManoramaMax. The show is produced by Prabha Unnithan under the banner of Sree Movies. It stars Malavika Wales in the main lead role along with Rekha Ratheesh, Yuva Krishna and Akhil Anand. It is one of the top-rated TV series in Mazhavil Manorama since its inception. It is currently the longest running Soap opera in Mazhavil Manorama.
P. R. Shyamala was an Indian novelist and short story writer of Malayalam literature. Known for novels such as Sararanthal and Makayiram Kayal and short stories compiled in Harishri and Ariyapedatha Peedanangal, she was a member of the Sahitya Pravartaka Sahakarana Sanghom, the general council of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi and the advisory board of the Central Board of Film Certification. Three of her stories have been adapted into films and Sararanthal was an award winning television series made in 1991, based on her novel of the same name.
