Sisauli is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Muzaffarnagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated on Muzaffarnagar-Shamli border.

Demographics

As of 2011 India census, [2] Sisauli had a population of 15,245. [3] Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Sisauli has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 46%. In Sisauli, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age. Sisauli is the center of the farmers' revolution against the price of the sugarcane and the other problems of farmers.

Tikait had become the Chaudhary of Baliyan Khap, at the age of eight after his father's death.
