Sô-Ava [sɔ.a.va] is a town, arrondissement, and commune in the Atlantique Department of southern Benin. The commune covers an area of 218 square kilometres and as of 2002 had a population of 76,315 people. [1]
Ganvie is a lake village in Benin, Africa, lying in Lake Nokoué, near Cotonou. With a population of around 20,000 people, it is probably the largest lake village in Africa and is very popular with tourists.
