Located in the township of Lot 33, Union Road is one of several communities comprising a green belt surrounding the City of Charlottetown.
In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Union Road had a population of 213 living in 78 of its 82 total private dwellings, a change of 4.4% from its 2016 population of 204. With a land area of 10.33 km2 (3.99 sq mi), it had a population density of 20.6/km2 (53.4/sq mi) in 2021. [10]
