Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 51 (VR-51), nicknamed the Windjammers, is a United States Navy Reserve transport squadron of the United States Navy's Fleet Logistics Support Wing, stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. It is a reserve unit composed of both active duty and Selected Reserve sailors. [2] The squadron maintains two Boeing 737-700C aircraft, designated as the C-40A Clipper, having received their first C-40 in May 2019, with the second one arriving in July. [3] [4] Previously, the squadron operated the Gulfstream C-20G. [2]

Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 42 Military unit

Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 42 was a reserve aviation logistics support unit of the United States Marine Corps. They fell under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 42 and 4th Marine Aircraft Wing and were based at Naval Air Station Atlanta. MALS-42 provided direct support to VMFA-142 and HMLA-773 and Navy squadrons VAW-77 and VR-46 and indirect support to two tactical Marine squadrons HMLA-773 Det A and HMM-774. Due to a re-organization within Marine aviation, MALS-42 was deactivated in 2008.

It is located two miles northeast of the central business district of Kaneohe, in Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States. The airfield has one runway (4/22) with a 7,771 x 200 ft asphalt surface.

Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans Airport in Belle Chasse, Louisiana

Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans is a base of the United States military located in Belle Chasse, unincorporated Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, United States. NAS JRB New Orleans is home to a Navy Reserve strike fighter squadron and a fleet logistics support squadron, the 159th Fighter Wing of the Louisiana Air National Guard, Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans, a detachment of a Marine Corps Reserve light helicopter attack squadron, as well as other US Navy and US Army activities. The base has a 24/7 operating schedule to support both the 159 FW's NORAD air sovereignty/homeland defense requirements and for Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans search and rescue/maritime law enforcement/port security missions. It contains a military airport known as Alvin Callender Field which is located three nautical miles (6 km) south of the central business district of New Orleans. The base's predecessor, NAS New Orleans, occupied the current location of the University of New Orleans's principal campus until 1957.

It is a reserve unit composed of both active duty and Selected Reserve sailors. The squadron maintains three modified Boeing Next-Generation 737-700C aircraft, designated as the C-40A Clipper.

Robin Braun

Robin Rumble Braun is a retired vice admiral of the United States Navy. Her last assignment was as Chief of Navy Reserve and Commander, Navy Reserve Force. She assumed that assignment on 13 August 2012. She was the first female commander of the United States Navy Reserve, and the first woman to lead any Reserve component of the United States military. Prior to her last assignment, Braun served as Deputy Director, European Plans and Operations Center, ECJ-3 United States European Command.

The squadron is under the operational control of Commander, Fleet Logistics Support Wing at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas.

VR-64 Military unit

Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 64 (VR-64), nicknamed the Condors, is a logistics squadron of the U.S. Navy Reserve, based at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst. The squadron was established as Patrol Squadron 64 on 1 November 1970 and redesignated on 18 September 2004, after 34 years of service. It was based at NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania until it got transferred to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in 2011. Units of the squadron made 26 major overseas deployments.

VR-54 Military unit

Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 54 (VR-54), nicknamed "The Revelers", is a heavy-transport, logistics support squadron of the United States Navy. It is a Navy Unique Fleet Essential Aircraft (NUFEA) squadron based out of NAS/JRB New Orleans, Louisiana and is a sub-command of Commander, Fleet Logistics Support Wingand Commander, Naval Air Reserve Force. VR-54 is a Naval Reserve unit composed of both Full-time Support (FTS) and Selected Reserve (SELRES) Sailors. The squadron currently flies the Lockheed C-130T Hercules.

VR-55 Military unit

Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 55 (VR-55) is an aviation unit of the United States Navy. The squadron was established in April 1976 and is based at Naval Base Ventura County, California (USA). It is equipped with the Lockheed C-130T Hercules.
