Xipundo is a municipality in Cuando Province in southeast Angola. [1] Prior to the reform of Angolan administrative divisions in 2024, it was a commune, spelled Chipundo, in the municipality of Rivungo in the province of Cuando Cubango. [2] [3] As of 2014, the commune had a population of 8,598 people over an area of 7,600 square kilometres (2,900 sq mi). [4]

As of 2014, the former commune had a population of 1,064 people over an area of 6,220 square kilometres (2,400 sq mi).

Before the 2024 reform of Angolan administrative divisions, it was a commune in the municipality of Mavinga in the province of Cuando Cubango. As of 2014, the commune had a population of 2,334 people over an area of 6,470 square kilometres (2,500 sq mi).

The commune had a population of 8,010 people in a 12,700 square kilometres (4,900 sq mi) area as of 2014.
