The following is a list of municipalities of Angola, grouped by province.

Angola contains 18 províncias (provinces) which are divided into 164 municípios (translated as either municipality or city council), and these are further sub-divided into 559 comunas (communes). [1] The two most recently created municipalities are Quilamba Quiaxi and Talatona in 2016.

Ambriz is a village and municipality in Bengo Province, Angola. It is located 127 km from the town of Caxito. It borders the municipality of N'zeto, Zaire Province, to the north and the municipality of Dande to the south.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Catumbela</span> Municipality and city in Benguela Province, Angola

Catumbela is a city and municipality of the Benguela province in Angola. The municipality had a population of 175,805 in 2014.

Tômbua, formerly known as Porto Alexandre, is a city and municipality in Angola, in Namibe Province. The municipality has a population of 55,494 and the city has a population of 46,573 in 2014. It is located on the shore of Porto Alexandre, an important harbor on the South Atlantic Ocean for oil production and fishing.

Ganda is a town and municipality in Benguela Province in Angola. The municipality had a population of 235,486 in 2014.

Cubal is a town and municipality in Benguela Province in Angola. The municipality had a population of 305,632 in 2014.

Negage is a town and municipality (município) of the Uíge province in Angola. The municipality had a population of 137,559 in 2014. It is served by Negage Airport.

Quitexe is a town and municipality in Uíge Province in Angola. The municipality had a population of 34,297 in 2014.

Sanza Pombo is a town and a municipality in Uíge Province in Angola. The municipality had a population of 68,391 in 2014.

Quirima is a town and municipality in the province of Malanje (Malange) in Angola. It covers an area of 10,077 square kilometres (3,891 sq mi) and its population as of 2014 is 21,134 inhabitants.

Xá-Muteba or Shah-Muteba is a town and municipality in Lunda Norte Province in Angola. The municipality had a population of 68,114 in 2014.

Quilengues, also Kilenjes, is a town and municipality in Huíla Province in Angola. The municipality had a population of 75,334 in 2014.

Quiçama, Quissama or Kisama is one of the nine municípios that make up the province of Luanda, as per the new administrative division of the province . It covers an area of 13,900 square kilometres (5,400 sq mi) and its population as of 2014 is 26,546. The municipal seat is the village of Muxima.

Cela is a município (municipality) in the province of Cuanza Sul in Angola. It covers an area of 4,610 square kilometres (1,780 sq mi) and its population is 225,520 in 2014.

The Municipality of Luanda is one of the nine municipalities that make up the province of Luanda, Angola. It covers roughly 116 km2 and includes Ilha de Luanda. The population was 2,194,747 at the 2014 census and is projected to be 2,571,861 in 2019 per Instituto Nacional de Estatística, República de Angola.
