Angola, officially the Republic of Angola, is a country in southwest Africa bordered by Namibia on the south, Democratic Republic of the Congo on the north, and Zambia on the east; its west coast is on the Atlantic Ocean. The exclave province of Cabinda has a border with the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Angola is divided into eighteen provinces and 163 municipalities. The country's official language is Portuguese and its capital is Luanda.

Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport, is the main international airport of Angola. It is located in the southern part of the capital Luanda, situated in the Luanda Province. Quatro de Fevereiro means 4 February, which is an important national holiday in Angola, marking the start of the armed struggle against the Portuguese colonial regime on 4 February 1961. In 2018, about 5.6 million passengers were handled.

Empresa Nacional de Navegação Aérea - Empresa Pública - ENANA is a publicly owned company operating the airports in Angola and controlling the civil air traffic in Angola. The company was created by decree No. 14 on February 13, 1980, separating the day-to-day operations from the Direcção Nacional da Aviação Civil within the transport ministry. ENANA is a Empresa Publica under the transport ministry.
