2008 British Formula Ford Championship

The 2008 British Formula Ford Championship was the 33rd edition of the British Formula Ford Championship. It began on 24 March at Oulton Park's Easter Monday meeting and ended on 12 October at Donington Park after 10 rounds and 25 races, held in the United Kingdom and Belgium. Having won 13 of the first 18 races, Jamun Mygale driver Wayne Boyd looked set to be a runaway championship winner, although in the end, Boyd's championship winning margin over teammate Tim Blanchard was 50 points.

The 2014 Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup was a multi-event, one make GT motor racing championship held across England and Scotland. The championship featured a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, competing in a Ginetta G55 or Ginetta G50 that conformed to the technical regulations for the championship. It formed part of the extensive program of support categories built up around the BTCC centrepiece. It was the fourth Ginetta GT4 Supercup, having rebranded from the Ginetta G50 Cup, which ran between 2008 and 2010. The season commenced on 30 March at Brands Hatch – on the circuit's Indy configuration – and concluded on 12 October at the same venue, utilising the Grand Prix circuit, after twenty-seven races held at ten meetings, all in support of the 2014 British Touring Car Championship season.

The 2007 Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship was the 19th British Formula Renault Championship season. The season began at Brands Hatch on March 31 and finished at Thruxton on October 14, after twenty rounds. The championship was won by Duncan Tappy with Adam Christodoulou winning the Graduate Cup.

The Lola T850 is an open-wheel Formula 2 racing car from the British manufacturer Lola Cars, which was used in the European and Japanese Formula 2 Championships in the early 1980s. It is not Lola's own construction, but a car produced under a license that was developed by competing companies. A variant of the Lola T850 is the Docking Spitzley DS1. Lola also built a version destined for Formula Atlantic, sold as the Toleman TA860.
