The 2015 Savannah mayoral election took place on November 5 and December 1, 2015. It saw the election of Eddie DeLoach, who unseated incumbent mayor Edna Jackson.
This was the first time in over 20 years that an incumbent mayor of Savannah lost reelection. [3] Eddie DeLoach became the first person elected mayor of Savannah to identify as a Republican since Susan Weiner was in 1991.

Savannah is the oldest city in the U.S. state of Georgia and is the county seat of Chatham County. Established in 1733 on the Savannah River, the city of Savannah became the British colonial capital of the Province of Georgia and later the first state capital of Georgia. A strategic port city in the American Revolution and during the American Civil War, Savannah is today an industrial center and an important Atlantic seaport. Jimmy DeLoach Parkway is a 14.2-mile-long (22.9 km) parkway in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is located a few miles northwest of the main part of Savannah. The parkway has a concurrency with SR 17. It is a road that links US 80/SR 17 Conn./SR 26 in Bloomingdale with SR 21 Alt./SR 21/SR 30 in Port Wentworth. It also has an interchange with Interstate 95 (I-95). It was named after Jimmy DeLoach, former mayor of Garden City and Chatham County commissioner for District 7.

The elections were originally to be held under new districts passed by the General Assembly in Senate Bill 739 to account for population changes following the 2020 census, however, following a ruling by the North Carolina Supreme Court, the General Assembly redrew the maps to comply with the court's ruling.
