Cockett is the name of an electoral ward in the City and County of Swansea, Wales, UK. The ward is coterminous with the Cockett community. It elects three councillors.
Castle is an electoral ward and community in the City and County of Swansea, Wales, UK. Castle covers most of the heart of the City of Swansea, with Swansea Castle at its centre.

Elections to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar took place on 5 May 2022 on the same day as the 31 other Scottish local government elections. The election will be the first to use the nine wards created under the Islands (Scotland) Act 2018 which allowed for single and dual member wards, with 29 councillors being elected. Each ward elected either 2, 3 or 4 members, using the Single Transferrable Vote electoral system, a form of proportional representation. Following a boundary review the number of wards will increase from nine to 11 while the number of councillors elected will fall from 31 to 29.
Elections to North Ayrshire Council took place on 5 May 2022 on the same day as the 31 other Scottish local government elections. The election was the first to use the nine wards created under the Islands (Scotland) Act 2018, with 33 councillors being elected. Each ward – except Arran which returned one member – elected either three, four or five members, using the STV electoral system.
The 2022 Vale of Glamorgan Council election is currently taking place as of 5 May 2022 to elect 54 members across 24 wards to Vale of Glamorgan Council. On the same day, elections will be held to the other 21 local authorities and to community councils in Wales as part of the 2022 Welsh local elections. The previous Vale of Glamorgan all-council election took place in May 2017 and future elections will take place every five years.
The next elections to Falkirk Council was held on 5 May 2022 on the same day as the 31 other Scottish local government elections. The election will use the nine wards created following the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland's 5th Review, with 30 councillors being elected. Each ward elected either three or four members, using the STV electoral system.
An election to Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council was held on 5 May 2022 as part of wider local elections across Wales. The election was preceded by the 2017 election. Three candidates were elected unopposed.
An election to City and County of Swansea Council took place on 5 May 2022 as part of the 2022 Welsh local elections. Seventy five seats were up for election across 32 wards. The previous full election took place in 2017.
