6 Point Harness is an American animation studio and production label of Mondo Media based in Los Angeles. It develops and produces animated television programming, feature films, commercial, music videos and web-based content. Founded by Brendan Burch in 2003, some of the studio's most notable productions include Tom Hanks' Electric City , [1] Fox's Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey , MTV's Good Vibes , Nick Jr.'s Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! , Nickelodeon's El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera , Adult Swim's Apollo Gauntlet and Lazor Wulf , the animated feature The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! , and the web series Dick Figures for the YouTube channel Mondo Media. [2] 6PH also released Dick Figures: The Movie , an in-house production developed from the company's web series. [3]
On September 19, 2016, it was announced that 6 Point Harness merged with Mondo Media, with Mondo being the surviving entity. Despite ceasing to be a distinct legal operation, it remains the primary production and distribution arm for Mondo's filmed and televised output. [4] Burch is currently CEO of the merged company, replacing Mondo's John Evershed. [5]
Brendan Burch founded the studio in June 2003. In 2010, 6 Point Harness approached Mondo Media with a pitch for Dick Figures and arranged a partnership for the series; 6 Point Harness provided the financing and production while distribution was provided by Mondo Media. [6]
In 2011, John Andrews came on board with the company to form 6 Point Media, the commercial branch of the studio. [7] [8] Six Point Harness and Titmouse, Inc. launched Rug Burn, a YouTube channel for animation, in 2012. [9] Six Point Harness raised $313,411 through KickStarter to produce a feature-length episode of Dick Figures in 2012. [10] [11]
In 2013, the studio had two nominations for "Best Animated Web Series" for Dick Figures and Electric City at the Streamy Awards, with Electric City bringing the studio its first Streamy Award. [12] That same year Dick Figures received an Annie Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement, Directing in an Animated Television or other Broadcast Venue Production. [13]
Outside of web series, the studio is most notable for providing the animation for the 2020 Oscar winning animated short Hair Love and producing animated sequences for Black-ish . [14] [15]

The term independent animation refers to animated shorts, web series, and feature films produced outside a major national animation industry.
Klasky-Csupo, Inc., is an American animation studio located in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1982 by producer Arlene Klasky and her then-husband, Hungarian animator Gábor Csupó in a spare room of their apartment and grew to 550 artists, creative workers and staff in an animation facility in Hollywood.
Williams Street Productions, LLC, d/b/a Williams Street and formerly known as Ghost Planet Industries, is an American animation and live action television production studio owned by the Warner Bros. Television Studios division of Warner Bros., a unit of Warner Bros. Discovery. The studio is the in-house production arm of Adult Swim. Mike Lazzo and Keith Crofford oversaw operations for the building for most of its existence.
Megas XLR is an American animated television series created by Jody Schaeffer and George Krstic for Cartoon Network. The series revolves around two teenage slackers: mechanic Coop and his best friend Jamie, who find a mecha robot from the future called MEGAS in a New Jersey junkyard. Coop modifies Megas and replaces his head, the control center, with a classic muscle car, and names him XLR. Together with Megas's original pilot Kiva, they must defend Earth from the evil alien race called "the Glorft". The series is an homage and parody of mecha anime. Krstic was originally one of the co-creators of MTV's Downtown.
Frederator Studios is an American animation television production studio founded by Fred Seibert, which is a division of Frederator Networks, Inc. It was formally launched by Seibert in 1998, with its initial formation in January of the prior year. Seibert remained at the company until founding FredFilms, its successor company in February 2021. The broadest such companies conceive of products to produce, own the physical equipment for production, employ operators for that equipment, and hold a major stake in the sales or rentals of the media produced. They also own rights over merchandising and creative rights for characters created/held by the company, much like authors holding copyrights. In some early cases, they also held patent rights over methods of animation used in certain studios that were used for boosting productivity. Overall, they are business concerns and can function as such in legal terms.

Dick Figures: The Movie is a 2013 independent American adult animated fantasy action-adventure comedy film produced by Remochoso and Six Point Harness and distributed by Mondo Media. It is based on the animated web series Dick Figures. The film was written and directed by Ed Skudder and Zack Keller and produced by Nick Butera and Andy Fiedler. Skudder and Keller star as Red and Blue, two best friends and polar opposites who set out on a journey to find the Great Sword of Destiny for the Raccoon in order to save their friendship, Pink's birthday, and the world from Lord Takagami. It also features the voices of Eric Bauza, Ben Tuller, Shea Carter, Mike Nassar, Chad Quandt, and Lauren K. Sokolov.

Major Lazer is an American adult animated television series based on the electronic music group of the same name, created by DJ and record producer Diplo with Ferry Gouw and Kevin Kusatsu. It premiered on FXX on April 16, 2015, as part of their Animation Domination High-Def (ADHD) block. After Stone Quackers, Major Lazer is the second ADHD original series to be aired on the channel after FOX had stopped its broadcast of the block itself.

Edward Daniel Skudder is an American animator, storyboard artist, director, writer, producer, musician, and voice actor. He is known for being the showrunner and co-executive producer for the Cartoon Network animated series Unikitty!. He is also the creator of the animated web series Dick Figures and the co-director and co-writer of its Kickstarter-funded feature film Dick Figures: The Movie, done with his best friend and former business partner Zack Keller, both of them voicing main characters Red and Blue respectively.
