Armori Assembly constituency is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) constituencies of Maharashtra state in central India. [1]
Armori is one of the three Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in Gadchiroli district. [2] and comprises the entire Desaiganj (Wadsa), Armori, Kurkheda and Korchi tehsils and part of Dhanora tehsil of the district. This constituency is reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled tribes. [2]
Armori is part of the Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha segments, namely Gadchiroli and Aheri in Gadchiroli district, Brahmapuri and Chimur in Chandrapur district and Amgaon in Gondia district. [2]

Gadchiroli district is an administrative district in Maharashtra, India. The city of Gadchiroli is the administrative headquarters of the district.
Chandrapur district is a district in the Nagpur Division in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Chandrapur was the largest district in India until the Gadchiroli and Sironcha tehsils were separated as Gadchiroli district in 1981. In 2011, the district population was 2,204,307.
Gadchiroli–Chimur Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India. This constituency came into existence on 19 February 2008 as a part of the implementation of the Presidential notification on delimitation of parliamentary constituencies based on the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted on 12 July 2002. This seat is reserved for Scheduled Tribes. It first held elections in 2009 and its first member of parliament (MP) was Marotrao Kowase of the Indian National Congress. As of the 2014 elections, it is represented by Ashok Nete of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
