The men's 100 metres event at the 1995 Summer Universiade was held on 31 August – 1 September at the Hakatanomori Athletic Stadium in Fukuoka, Japan. [1]

100 metres sprint race

The 100 metres, or 100 metre dash, is a sprint race in track and field competitions. The shortest common outdoor running distance, it is one of the most popular and prestigious events in the sport of athletics. It has been contested at the Summer Olympics since 1896 for men and since 1928 for women.

At the 1995 Summer Universiade, the athletics events were held at the Hakatanomori Athletic Stadium in Fukuoka, Japan from 29 August to 3 September. A total of 43 events were contested, of which 23 by male and 20 by female athletes.

Hakatanomori Athletic Stadium

Hakatanomori Athletic Stadium (東平尾公園博多の森陸上競技場) is a multi-use stadium in Fukuoka, Japan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 30,000 people.
