Divide/Conquer (pronounced "Divide and Conquer") is an American film and television production company founded in 2013 by Adam Hendricks, Greg Gilreath and John H. Lang. [1] [2] It is known for producing films such as Lucky , Cam , Black Christmas , Freaky , The Voyeurs , Vengeance , M3GAN and Totally Killer .
Divide/Conquer oversees the development and production of budget films. Its first films were Lucky , Like. Share. Follow. and Totem . Its also known for producing multiple projects with Jason Blum and Blumhouse Productions. Its films Freaky and M3GAN were both featured at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood and Orlando. [3]

A slasher film is a subgenre of horror films involving a killer or a group of killers stalking and murdering a group of people, usually by use of bladed or sharp tools. Although the term "slasher" may occasionally be used informally as a generic term for any horror film involving murder, film analysts cite an established set of characteristics which set slasher films apart from other horror subgenres, such as monster movies, splatter films, supernatural and psychological horror films.

Black Christmas is a Canadian-American horror film series that comprises three standalone slasher films, as well as a novelization. The original film has gained a large cult following and is credited as being one of the first slasher films, inspiring many others, including the critically acclaimed hit Halloween (1978). The series centers around a serial killer that stalks and murders a group of sorority sisters. The 1974 film follows the character of Jess Bradford as she and her sorority sisters begin receiving threatening phone calls from an unknown stalker. The 2006 film explores the background and motivation for the killer and his family. The 2019 film completely abandons the first two films' killer storyline, instead focusing on a new set of characters and killers.
Black Christmas is a 2019 slasher film directed by Sophia Takal and written by Takal and April Wolfe. Part of the Black Christmas series, it is the loose second remake of the 1974 Canadian film of the same name, after the 2006 film and follows a group of sorority sisters at Hawthorne College as they are preyed upon by an unknown stalker. The film stars Imogen Poots, Aleyse Shannon, Lily Donoghue, Brittany O'Grady, Caleb Eberhardt and Cary Elwes.
Freaky is a 2020 American slasher comedy film directed by Christopher Landon, from a screenplay by Michael Kennedy and Landon, and starring Vince Vaughn, Kathryn Newton, Katie Finneran, Celeste O'Connor, and Alan Ruck. A twist on Freaky Friday, the film centers on a teenage girl who unintentionally switches bodies with a middle-aged male serial killer. Jason Blum serves as a producer under his Blumhouse Productions banner.

Its plot follows an artificially intelligent doll who develops self-awareness and becomes hostile toward anyone who comes between her and her human companion.

Produced by Jason Blum, under his Blumhouse Television banner, and Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath under their Divide/Conquer banner, it stars Kiernan Shipka, Olivia Holt, and Julie Bowen. The story follows Jamie (Shipka) who, after her mother is murdered by the same Sweet 16 Killer who went on a murder spree 35 years earlier, travels back in time to 1987, where she pairs up with her mother to catch the killer during his original spree and return to her timeline before she is trapped in the past forever.
M3GAN 2.0 is an upcoming American science fiction horror film directed by Gerard Johnstone and written by Akela Cooper. A sequel to M3GAN (2022), it sees Allison Williams and Violet McGraw return to star, alongside Ivanna Sakhno, Timm Sharp, Aristotle Athari and Jemaine Clement. Jason Blum and James Wan return as producers under their respective Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster companies, alongside Divide/Conquer.
