Hamlin is a city in Brown County, Kansas, United States. [1] As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 25. [3]
Hamlin was laid out in 1870. [4] [5] It was named in honor of Hannibal Hamlin, Abraham Lincoln's vice-president. [6] [7]

[10] [11] The racial makeup was 88.0% (22) white or European American (88.0% non-Hispanic white), 0.0% (0) black or African-American, 8.0% (2) Native American or Alaska Native, 0.0% (0) Asian, 0.0% (0) Pacific Islander or Native Hawaiian, 0.0% (0) from other races, and 4.0% (1) from two or more races.
