Hypnotix was founded in 1993 and was based in Manhattan. [1] The company moved to Little Falls, New Jersey in 1996. [1]
In July 2005, the company was acquired by Electronic Arts and folded into EA Tiburon, which develops the Madden NFL and Tiger Woods PGA Tour series. [2] [3]
Square Co., Ltd. was a Japanese video game development studio and publisher. It was founded in 1986 by Masafumi Miyamoto, who spun off part of his father's electronics company Den-Yu-Sha. Among its early employees were designers Hironobu Sakaguchi, Hiromichi Tanaka, Akitoshi Kawazu and Koichi Ishii, artist Kazuko Shibuya, programmer Nasir Gebelli, and composer Nobuo Uematsu. Initially focusing on action games, the team saw popular success with Final Fantasy in 1987. A role-playing video game, it became the first in a franchise of the same name. Later notable staff included directors Yoshinori Kitase and Takashi Tokita, designer and writer Yasumi Matsuno, artists Tetsuya Nomura and Yusuke Naora, and composers Yoko Shimomura and Masashi Hamauzu.

The latter console version was ported to Japan and published by Electronic Arts Victor on June 21, 2001.

Outlaw Golf is a series of golf video games developed by Hypnotix, that are intended for adults and mature teens. Outlaw Golf was released for the Xbox on June 11, 2002; for GameCube on October 30, 2002; and for Microsoft Windows on September 30, 2003. A standalone expansion, Outlaw Golf: Holiday Golf was released December 23, 2002. A second standalone expansion, Outlaw Golf: 9 More Holes of X-Mas, was released November 15, 2003. An official sequel, Outlaw Golf 2, was released for Xbox on October 21, 2004, and for PlayStation 2 on November 25, 2004. The games are part of the Outlaw series, and other titles include Outlaw Volleyball and Outlaw Tennis. The Xbox version was released in Japan as part of Xbox World Collection series.

Jane's Attack Squadron is a 2002 combat flight simulator developed by Looking Glass Studios and Mad Doc Software and published by Xicat Interactive.
