The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) is a museum on one end of the seven-kilometer-long (4.3 mi) Corniche in Doha, Qatar. As per the architect I. M. Pei's specifications, the museum is built on an island off an artificial projecting peninsula near the traditional dhow harbor. A purpose-built park surrounds the edifice on the eastern and southern facades while two bridges connect the southern front facade of the property with the main peninsula that holds the park. The western and northern facades are marked by the harbor showcasing the Qatari seafaring past. In September 2017, Qatar Museums appointed Julia Gonnella as new director of MIA. In November 2022 the MIA became the first carbon-neutral certified museum in the Middle East Region. The museum participates in the Expo 2023 Doha from October 2023 until March 2024, with workshops and events focusing on biodiversity and sustainability.
The Royal Flora Ratchaphruek was an international horticultural exposition held 1 November, 2006 to 31 January, 2007 at Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden in the Thai city Chiang Mai of Chiang Mai Province that drew 3,781,624 visitors. Recognised by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), it was one of the grand celebrations hosted by the Royal Thai Government in honor of King Bhumibol, the world's longest reigning monarch.

There are local garden festivals, regional garden festivals, national garden festivals and international garden festivals. The idea probably originated with Germany's Bundesgartenschau. The International Gartenbauausstellung 73 was a garden festival held in Hamburg, Germany, which was recognized by the Bureau International des Expositions. The exposition was the 6th edition of the international horticultural exposition organised under the auspices of the Association of International Horticultural Producers (AIPH) and the second held at Planten un Blomen park in Hamburg. The exhibition took place on the same site where IGA 63 was held a decade earlier. There were some changes to the site location, such as the vaulting of the Marseillerstrasse so that visitors throughout the area without crossing could visit. Instead of a cable car, a park trail was constructed on the site to provide for visitors. The line had four stations and took 30 minutes to complete a lap.

Expo 2025 is an upcoming World Expo organised and sanctioned by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), which will be held in Osaka, Japan. It will take place for six months during 2025, opening 13 April 2025 and closing 13 October 2025. It will be held for 184 days This will be the third time Osaka hosts a World Expo, having previously hosted Expo 1970 and Expo 1990. The event will return to its traditional 5-year scheduling cycle after the Expo 2020 was delayed to 2021 and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The projected visitor count is approximately 28 million.
Expo 2023 would have been a specialized exhibition that was scheduled to be held in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) awarded Buenos Aires as the host on November 15, 2017. This was to have been the first time that a BIE Expo was held in Argentina, and the first in the country since BIE's creation. In October 2020, Argentina announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing financial crisis, the Expo would not be held as planned in 2023.
Cinema in Qatar is a relatively young industry that evolved as part of the country’s plans to develop different local sectors with the aim of accumulating international recognition and status. Many major steps were taken to implement a long-term plan to develop the infrastructure as well as giving opportunities to local talents to have a platform that establishes their presence within the film industry with the support of the Doha Film Institute, and their various grants, workshops and festivals. The Qatar National Vision 2030 has three major pillars to development: human, social economic and environmental; this vision provides frameworks that enable the development of different elements within Qatar and its society; one of which is the high importance put on developing and cultivating artistic talents to represent and define Qatar on a global scale. Another important element in developing the movie industry is the influence and vision of Sheikha Al Mayassa who founded Doha Film Institution; the establishment of film as a mode of storytelling was imperative because it serves the purpose of granting Qatar a global presence through the talents that are supported and cultivated because of her initiative. The film industry plays a role in amplifying the Qatari national identity alongside the identity of the Arab world as a whole.
The Yangzhou International Horticultural Exposition 2021 is an A2/B1 class AIPH horticultural exhibition, held in Yangzhou, China from 8 April to 8 October 2021. The theme of the expo is "Green City, Healthy Life".

It will take place for six months during late 2030 and early 2031, opening on 1 October 2030 and closing on 31 March 2031. Riyadh will be the second Arab city to host the Expo after Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2020.
Expo 2027 is the working title for a BIE recognised specialised exposition to be held in 2027 in Belgrade, Serbia. It is scheduled to begin on 15 May 2027 and close on 15 August 2027. This will be the first time that a BIE Expo is being held in Southeastern Europe. It will also be the first world exposition to be held in the former Yugoslavia.

The Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD) is a Research and Development (R&D) entity targeting United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on multiple fronts with a focus on environmental sustainability. GORD worked as the sustainability partner for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. It is leading the official Qatar Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineer (AEE). Founded in 2009 by Dr. Yousef Alhorr, GORD is also chairing the GSO Technical Committee for Sustainable Buildings (TC17) in GCC Standardization Organization (GSO). The committee is chartered for developing a regional code consolidating green buildings related standards and schemes. For its initiatives aimed at accelerating climate solutions, GORD has partnered with UN agencies including, UNESCO, UNEP and UNFCCC. GORD is also the sustainability partner of the International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha.
