Kalayaan station is a planned station on the Metro Manila Subway Line 9 . Like all other Line 9 stations, the station is underground. The station is situated along the border of Makati and Taguig, with entrances on both sides. The station is planned to be located underneath the junction of Kalayaan Avenue, a major road in West Rembo, Makati, Philippines where the station derives its name, and a sparsely used section of 11th Avenue inside Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

The 36-kilometer (22 mi) line, which will run north–south between the cities of Quezon City, Pasig, Makati, Taguig and Pasay, will serve fifteen stations between the Quirino Highway and FTI stations.
