Calamba station is a station on the South Main Line ("Southrail") of the Philippine National Railways, serving Calamba City in Laguna. It is one of two railway stations in the city and it is a major station on the South Main Line, serving as the junction between the South Main Line and the Calamba-Batangas branch line which connects to Batangas City. It is also envisioned to be the terminus of the Commuter Express when rehabilitation work is complete. The station was opened on January 24, 1909.

As of 2016, it operates one commuter rail service in Metro Manila and local services between Sipocot, Naga City and Legazpi City in the Bicol Region. PNR began operations on November 24, 1892 as the Ferrocarril de Manila-Dagupan, during the Spanish colonial period, and later becoming the Manila Railroad Company (MRR) during the American colonial period. It became the Philippine National Railways on June 20, 1964 by virtue of Republic Act No. 4156. The PNR is an agency of the Department of Transportation.
Calamba, officially the City of Calamba,, or known simply as Calamba City is a 1st class city in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 454,486 people.

Calamba Medical Center or CMC is a private hospital in Calamba City, province of Laguna, Philippines. It will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in June 2019. The CMC Tower 1 building houses the doctors clinics, OPD diagnostic centers to include a complete laboratory, radiology & cardiac pulmonary facilities, the Women's Center with Colposcopy& Mammography, Calamba Eye Center, Dental Center. The CMC Main hospital just transferred to the new 7-storey 122 bed Tower 2 building on March 2018. It is equipped with a Siemens 128 slice CT Scan, 1.5 Tesla MRI, a level 3 laboratory facility with complete blood bank, histopathology and nuclear medicine set-up. Calamba Medical Center is ISO accredited for the past 4 years and has successfully transitioned to ISO 9001: 2015.
