The Manila Light Rail Transit System, commonly known as the LRT, is an urban rail transit system that primarily serves Metro Manila, Philippines. Although categorized as a light rail system because it originally used light rail vehicles, it presently has characteristics of a rapid transit system, such as high passenger throughput, exclusive right-of-way, and later use of full metro rolling stock. The LRT is jointly-operated by the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA), a government corporation attached to the Department of Transportation (DOTr), and the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC). Along with the Manila Metro Rail Transit System and the Metro Commuter Line of the Philippine National Railways, the system makes up Metro Manila's rail infrastructure.
Blumentritt station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Manila, Philippines. The station is situated above Rizal Avenue, particularly at its intersections with Old Antipolo Street and Blumentritt Road, from which the station's name is derived. The latter is named to honor Bohemian professor Ferdinand Blumentritt, one of José Rizal's closest associates and a sympathizer of the Propaganda Movement.
Monumento station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in the southern portion of Caloocan. It is named after the most famous landmark of Caloocan, the Monumento Circle, which houses the Bonifacio Monument, a famous monument to Filipino revolutionary Andrés Bonifacio. The name Monumento itself is derived from the Spanish word for monument. It opened on May 12, 1985, when LRT-1 became fully operational. Being the northern terminus of LRT-1 until Balintawak was opened in 2010, it is called Monumento Terminal and historically as North Terminal.
Doroteo Jose station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Santa Cruz, Manila. The station is situated on Rizal Avenue and slightly past Doroteo Jose Street. Both the station and the street are named after Doroteo Jose, a Filipino who was arrested by Spanish authorities in 1898 for leading a movement against a corrupt archbishop.
Gil Puyat station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Pasay, Philippines. It is situated above the intersection of Taft Avenue and Gil Puyat Avenue, where the station derived its name. The avenue itself is named after Gil Puyat, a former senator and statesman. The station was opened to the public on December 1, 1984, as part of LRT's inaugural southern section, known as the Taft Line.
EDSA station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Pasay. The station is situated on the intersection of Taft Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, better known as EDSA, one of Metro Manila's major thoroughfares. The station and the avenue are both named after Epifanio de los Santos, a noted historian.
Baclaran station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Pasay. Situated on the last stretches of Taft Avenue right at the border with Baclaran, Parañaque. The station is named after the famous shopping district of the same name, which is located on the borders of the cities of Pasay and Parañaque. Opened in 1984, the station served as the line's initial southern terminus, historically known as South Terminal, until Phase 1 of the Cavite Extension was opened in 2024.
Vito Cruz station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Malate, Manila. It is the first station from Dr. Santos and the last station from Fernando Poe Jr. to lie within Manila city bounds. It is also the tenth station for trains headed to Fernando Poe Jr. and the sixteenth station for trains headed to Dr. Santos. The station takes its name from the old name of the nearby Pablo Ocampo Street, which was named after Hermogenes Vito Cruz, a former alcalde mayor of Pineda c. 1871.

United Nations station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Ermita, Manila. Situated above the intersection of Taft Avenue and United Nations Avenue, the station is named after the latter.

The name Libertad survives as an area name after the old street.

The Light Rail Transit Line 1, commonly referred to as LRT Line 1 or LRT-1, is a light rapid transit system line in Metro Manila, Philippines, operated by Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) and owned by the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) as part of the Manila Light Rail Transit System. Originally referred to as Metrorail and the Yellow Line, LRT Line 1 was reclassified to be the Green Line in 2012. It travels in a general north–south direction from Dr. Santos to Monumento, and then east–west from Monumento to Fernando Poe Jr. Currently, the line consists of 25 stations and runs on 25.9 kilometers of fully elevated route. Although it has the characteristics of light rail, such as with the type of rolling stock used, it is more akin to a rapid transit system owing to its total grade separation and high passenger throughput.

R. Papa station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. It is situated on Rizal Avenue Extension in Barrio Obrero. The station is named after Ricardo Papa Street, which is in turn named after a former Manila police chief-turned-Commanding General of the Philippine Army. The station is the first station in Rizal Avenue Extension going north and the last in the city of Manila, located just next to the city's boundary with Caloocan.
5th Avenue station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Caloocan, Philippines. The station is situated on Rizal Avenue Extension at the boundaries of Grace Park East and Grace Park West. The station is located above the avenue's intersection with 5th Avenue (C-3), after which the station is named.
Tutuban station is a proposed Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) station situated on Line 2. It is part of the Line 2 West Extension project, a 3.02-kilometer (1.88 mi) extension from Recto station to the Manila North Harbor in Tondo. The west extension project calls for the construction of three additional elevated stations: two on Recto Avenue and one on Zaragoza Street near Pier 4 of the Manila North Harbor. It was approved by the National Economic and Development Authority on May 19, 2015. Ayala Land Inc., will benefit the said station as they already acquired Tutuban Center. Future developments will soon progress at the area the same time with LRT Tutuban Station construction.
The Metro Rail Transit Line 4 (MRT-4) is a proposed rapid transit line that would serve the Greater Manila Area of the Philippines. The 12.7 km (7.9 mi), 10-station elevated railway would connect Ortigas Center in Metro Manila and the suburban municipality of Taytay, Rizal. It would traverse along Ortigas Avenue and Manila East Road, starting at the former's junction with EDSA in Quezon City to the west until it terminates near the New Taytay Public Market to the east.
