North Avenue station is an elevated Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station located on the MRT Line 3 (MRT-3) system in Diliman, Quezon City. Located on the Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), it is named after the adjacent North Avenue, which intersects the highway. It is the current northern terminus of the line.
The North Avenue Depot, an underground depot where the trains of the line are kept and maintained, is located near the station. The elevated tracks terminate abruptly beyond the station, but there is sufficient room for a terminating train to leave the station and stop before switching to the opposite track and reentering the station to begin the journey south.
The station is directly connected to Trinoma. It is also close to SM North EDSA, one of the Philippines' largest malls. Other nearby landmarks include the Veritas Tower (home to the Veritas 846 studios), SM Cyber West Avenue, Philippine College of Surgeons, UNTV Broadcast Center, and Triangle Park, where Veterans Memorial Medical Center, Vertis North, Ayala Malls Vertis North, Philippine Science High School Main Campus, Quezon City Science High School, and Ninoy Aquino Parks & Wildlife Center are located. The Philippine Medical Association secretariat, Phil-Am, and Sogo Hotel North EDSA are also within reach of the station.
North Avenue station is a major hub for buses plying the EDSA route and one of the most crowded MRT-3 stations during rush hour. [1] Transport terminals are also located near the station, particularly at Trinoma and SM North EDSA, respectively, while the North Avenue bus stop of EDSA Carousel is located at the center island of EDSA, accessible directly from the station. Taxis, jeepneys, minibuses, and UV Express vans also stop in the vicinity.
The line operates from 4:30 AM PHT until 10:00 PM all days a week. It is closed for annual maintenance every Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday.

The Metro Rail Transit Line 3, also known as the MRT Line 3, MRT-3, or Metrostar Express, is a rapid transit line in Metro Manila in the Philippines. The line runs in an orbital north to south route following the alignment of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA). Despite its name, the line is more akin to a light rapid transit system owing to its tram-like rolling stock while having total grade separation and high passenger throughput. The line is officially known as the Yellow Line. Its current General Manager is Oscar Bongon.
Monumento station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in the southern portion of Caloocan. It is named after the most famous landmark of Caloocan, the Monumento Circle, which houses the Bonifacio Monument, a famous monument to Filipino revolutionary Andrés Bonifacio. Ayala Malls Trinoma is a large shopping mall in Quezon City, Philippines, owned by property development firm Ayala Land. Opened on May 16, 2007, the mall is located on the east side of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue in Quezon City, giving significant market competition to the nearby SM North EDSA as one of the largest malls in Metro Manila. It is also one of two malls that will be serving Ayala Land's Vertis North township, which is located beside the mall, along with a new lifestyle block mall Ayala Malls Vertis North, similar to Greenbelt in Makati, which was also developed by Ayala Malls.

North Avenue is a major road located in Quezon City within the Diliman area of northeastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It runs east–west through barangays Bagong Pag-asa, Project 6, and Vasra, forming the northern part of the North Triangle area. The street is located in Quezon City's mixed-use and government area, known for its malls, condominiums, hotels, and the upcoming QC CBD. It is also home to SM North EDSA, Trinoma, and Ayala Malls Vertis North located on the avenue's junction with Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA). The entire avenue is designated as National Route 173 (N173) of the Philippine highway network.
The Metro Rail Transit Line 4 (MRT-4) is a proposed rapid transit line that would serve the Greater Manila Area of the Philippines. The 12.7 km (7.9 mi), 10-station elevated railway would connect Ortigas Center in Metro Manila and the suburban municipality of Taytay, Rizal. It would traverse along Ortigas Avenue and Manila East Road, starting at the former's junction with EDSA in Quezon City to the west until it terminates near the New Taytay Public Market to the east.
Ayala Malls Vertis North is a shopping mall in Vertis North Complex, Quezon City, Philippines developed and managed by Ayala Malls. It is the second mall in the Vertis North township complex built by Ayala Malls inside Triangle Park; the first being Trinoma that was opened in 2007. The mall opened on June 9, 2017, after several unknown delays.
