Muntinlupa, officially known as the City of Muntinlupa, is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 543,445 people.

Sucat is a station on the PNR South Main Line located on Meralco Road, Sucat, Muntinlupa. It was originally established by the Manila Railway Company in 1908 as part of the construction of the original Southern Lines to Tayabas province, since renamed Quezon. It is also the southernmost area on the PNR Metro Commuter Line to be upgraded to double track as a result of a proposed electrification scheme in 1978.

Tunasan station is a defunct station/flagstop, the last station within Metro Manila before the province of Laguna on the South Main Line ("Southrail") of the Philippine National Railways. The station was removed in 2009 and the trains no longer stop there since then. The station/flagstop was located in Rodriguez Street, a few meters from the National Road and the Barangay Hall of Tunasan, Muntinlupa. It is unknown if it will be rebuilt but there is a possibility for the station before it in Poblacion Muntinlupa has been rebuilt.

Dr. Arcadio Santos Avenue or Dr. Santos Avenue, formerly and still referred to as Sucat Road or Parañaque–Sucat Road, is the primary east–west thoroughfare in Parañaque, southern Metro Manila, Philippines. The avenue's western end is in Barangay San Dionisio as the continuation of Ninoy Aquino Avenue. Physically, Ninoy Aquino Avenue connects northbound to NAIA Road in Pasay which, in turn, continues west to Roxas Boulevard back in Parañaque, where it ends. Its eastern end is at the East Service Road, which runs parallel to South Luzon Expressway, in Barangay Sucat, Muntinlupa, where it becomes Meralco Road to service the rest of the route to Sucat railway station.

The PNR Metro Commuter Line is a commuter rail line operated by the Philippine National Railways. It was first inaugurated as the Metro Manila Commuter Service in 1970, and originally served the North Main Line and the South Main Lines, as well as the defunct Carmona and Guadalupe branch lines. Since then, it adopted several names such as Metrotrak and Metrotren, before adopting its present name in the late 2000s. The line is also nicknamed the Orange Line due to its designation in the 1970s.
Sucat Thermal Power Plant was an oil-fired steam turbine plant in Muntinlupa commissioned in 1968. The plant was fully decommissioned in 2002. The land occupied by the facility is planned to be auctioned by the government to private bidders in late 2015 or early 2016 on conditions that the property will be kept as a power-generation site. Rehabilitation of the facility was previously considered but such plans were dropped after it was deemed too costly to recommission the plant compared to constructing a new one in its place and the facility is already flooded.
The Light Rail Transit Line 6 is a proposed rapid transit system in Cavite, Philippines. There have been two proposals for the line, with the first one shelved immediately in 2018. Another proposal emerged in 2017 and is currently under review by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
The Sucat People's Park, also known simply as Sucat Park and Sucmun Park, is a lakefront park located on the shore of Laguna de Bay in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is a public community park in a reclaimed portion of the village of Sucat just north of the Sucat Thermal Power Plant on the border between Purok 3 and Purok 4, east of Don Juan Bayview Subdivision. Entry is from M.L. Quezon Street and Meralco Road from the Sucat Interchange of the South Luzon Expressway and Dr. Santos Avenue.
Sucat is an administrative division in southern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is an urban barangay in Muntinlupa City with many high-rise condomniums and commercial establishments in the area. The area is also well known for the Sucat exit of the South Luzon Expressway and Metro Manila Skyway.
The PNR South Main Line is one of the two trunk lines that form the Philippine National Railways' network in the island of Luzon, Philippines. It was opened in stages between 1916 and 1938 by the Manila Railroad. Services peaked in the 1940s until the late 1960s, when the system started to decline. Since 1988, it was the only functioning inter-city rail after its counterpart to the north, the North Main Line, was closed. The intercity section of the line in Laguna, Quezon and the Bicol Region was then closed and reopened repeatedly between 2004 and 2014 due to a combination of declining ridership and was closed since then. Currently, only two short sections of the line survive; the PNR Metro Commuter Line between Tutuban station and Laguna, and the Bicol Commuter regional rail service between Sipocot and Naga, Camarines Sur.
The PNR South Long Haul Project, also known as PNR Bicol is an upcoming inter-city rail line in southern Luzon, Philippines. It is part of the larger Luzon Rail System, a network of long-distance standard-gauge lines being built by the Philippine National Railways throughout Luzon. It is one of the two lines that will reconstruct the historic PNR South Main Line, along with the electrified North–South Commuter Railway South section to Calamba, Laguna.
