The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is an academic qualification in a range of subjects taken in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, having been introduced in September 1986 and its first exams taken in 1988. Public schools in Scotland use the Scottish Qualifications Certificate instead. However, private schools in Scotland often choose to follow the English GCSE system.

Christ the King Sixth Forms are sixth form colleges based over three sites in South London, England. The college was first founded in 1992 by the Catholic Church on a site in Lewisham owned by the Archdiocese of Southwark, it welcomes students from all religions and backgrounds. The college is a free-standing institution responsible for its own affairs. The original site in Lewisham is called Christ the King: Emmanuel.
Central Foundation Boys' School is a voluntary-aided comprehensive secondary school in the London Borough of Islington. It was founded at a meeting in 1865 and opened the following year in Bath Street, before moving to its current location on Cowper Street in 1869. Originally named The Middle Class School of London, it was renamed in 1890 after the establishment of its trust body, the Central Foundation Schools Trust. Its sister school is Central Foundation Girls' School in Tower Hamlets.
