La Cumbre Plaza is an outdoor shopping center located in Santa Barbara, California. The first property built by The Hahn Company, La Cumbre Plaza opened in 1967 [1] and was purchased by Macerich in 2004. [2] Macerich now holds a long-term lease, which goes through 2077 without ownership of the 31-acre site (13 ha). [3] The shopping center spans 491,000 sq ft (45,600 m2) and is anchored by a Macy's.

Robinson's changed nameplates twice in its history, first becoming Robinsons-May in 1993, then Macy's in 2006 due to the merger of Federated and May Department Stores. [4]
In the mid-2000s Macerich embarked on a remodel that added upscale retailers including Williams Sonoma, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton and Ruth's Chris Steak House. The remodel was at the height of the Great Recession, causing several of these new tenants to close only a few years later. Others have thrived since the remodel including Pottery Barn.
On November 8, 2018, it was announced that Sears will be closing this location in early 2019 a part of a plan to close 40 stores. The store closed in February 2019. [5] [6] With the property owners planning for redevelopment, Macy’s will close by 2028. [3]

Northridge Mall is a shopping mall in Salinas, California, the largest in Monterey County. Located off Highway 101 near Boronda Road and North Main Street in the northern part of the city, the single-story structure encompasses 976,913 sq ft (90,758 m2) of retail space. Northridge Mall features more than 110 shops, two restaurants, a fast-food court with eight outlets, a Round One Entertainment, and three department stores including Hobby Lobby, JCPenney, and Macy's with one vacant anchor last occupied by Sears. The Shops at Montebello is a shopping mall mainly located within the city limits of Montebello, California, with over 120 national and local retail outlets such as Aeropostale, Disney Store, Hollister, Victoria’s Secret and BJ's Restaurant & Brewery. A small portion of its eastern side is actually within the city limits of Rosemead. It features major department stores, children's stores, smaller shops such as beauty and bath stores, health stores and salons, as well as a small food court. The boundary line between Montebello and Rosemead runs through the eastern end of the mall. Policing is provided by the City of Montebello. It was managed by The Macerich Company before being sold to Simon Property Group in 2011. The mall features 758,504 sq ft of leasable retail space. As of 2019, Simon no longer owns the mall. Pacific Retail announced ownership of the mall on the company Instagram page on January 24, 2019. As of April 2024, the mall is currently managed by Spinoso Real Estate Group.
