Imperial Valley Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in El Centro, California. Opened in 2005, the mall features J. C. Penney, Dillard's, and Macy's as its anchor stores. It is managed by CBL & Associates Properties.
Sears and J. C. Penney were confirmed as mall tenants in 2002. [2] The mall was approved for construction in 2003. [3] Among the first tenants confirmed were Dairy Queen, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Pac Sun, Payless ShoeSource, and a 14-screen UltraStar Cinemas, now a Cinemark. [4]
It opened for business on March 9, 2005, with J. C. Penney, Sears, Dillard's, and Robinsons-May (now Macy's) as its four anchor stores. [5] Sears relocated from El Centro Mall, an older mall in town. [6] A day before the mall's opening, the owners held a "preview party" in which customers could purchase tickets to view the mall before it officially opened for business. [7]
In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Imperial Valley Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties. [8]
On October 15, 2018, it was announced that Sears would be closing as part of a plan to close 142 stores nationwide. [9] The store closed in January 2019.
Miami International Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Doral, Florida in southwestern Metropolitan Miami, only half a mile away from the larger Dolphin Mall. The Miami International Airport is nearby, thus giving the mall its name. It was built by the Edward J. DeBartolo Corp. in 1982, and is currently managed by Simon Property Group, who owns 47.8% of it. The mall has 4 anchor stores: J. C. Penney, Kohl's, and 2 Macy's locations. There are 130 shops and eateries as well. From 1982 until 2000, the mall had indoor trees, five fountains to throw pennies in, a children's train, and a large cascading floor level fountain in center court. The large center fountain was shut off and sat unused through most of the 1990s. It was later completely removed and the circular space was used for cart vendors. Being near Florida International University, it is a popular hang-out place for students.
Southwest Center Mall, formerly Red Bird Mall, is a shopping mall located in Dallas, Texas. Originally owned by the DeBartolo family, it opened in 1975. It was, and remains, the only major one located in the southern half of Dallas. Its original name, Red Bird Mall, came from the Red Bird area of Dallas in which it is located.
Arbor Place is a shopping mall in Douglasville, Georgia, United States. Opened in 1999, the mall was originally to be anchored by Dillard's, Parisian, Sears, and Upton's. The Upton's chain went out of business prior to the opening of the mall, but the contract to build the store was still completed, resulting in a vacant anchor when the mall opened. A home improvement chain named Dekor took over the Upton's site in 2000. The chain folded in 2001 and once again left the mall with a vacant anchor space. In 2003, JCPenney took over the site.
CoolSprings Galleria is an enclosed super-regional shopping mall in the Cool Springs commercial and residential corridor between Franklin and Brentwood, Tennessee, 15 miles (24 km) south of Nashville. Opened in 1991, it features 150 stores. The anchor stores are JCPenney, 2 Belk stores, H&M, American Girl, Ulta Beauty, Dillard's, Forever 21, and Macy's. The major tenant is The Cheesecake Factory. CBL Properties developed the mall in a joint venture with the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation, and has owned it since its opening; CBL also owns an adjacent power center called CoolSprings Crossing which was developed simultaneously.

Ingram Park Mall is a super regional shopping center located in the northwest section of San Antonio, Texas, at the intersection of Interstate 410 and Ingram Road. It was severely damaged during the Northridge earthquake in 1994, but renovated extensively in 1995, 1998, and 2003. The mall's anchor stores are J. C. Penney, two Macy's locations, Dave and Buster’s, and an AMC Theatres formerly owned by Pacific Theatres.

It opened in 1979 and was developed by Robert B. Aikens & Associates, but is now owned by Namdar Realty Group. Currently, Acadiana Mall houses three department store anchors. In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Acadiana Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties. Sears closed in September 2017 leaving its site vacant. On June 4, 2020, it was announced that JCPenney would be closing as part of a plan to close 154 stores nationwide. However this store was removed from the closing list on July 13, 2020.
Woodland Hills Mall is a 1+ million square foot, super regional shopping mall located at 7021 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. It was originally developed by Homart Development Company, and opened in August 1976. Woodland Hills Mall features 148 specialty shops and restaurants, 80 of which are unique to the Tulsa area. The anchor stores are JCPenney, Macy's, Dillard's, and Overstock Furniture & Mattress.

Panama City Mall was a single story enclosed shopping mall in Panama City, Florida. Opened in 1976, it featured J. C. Penney, Gayfers, and Sears as its anchor stores. It is owned and managed by Hendon Properties of Atlanta as of September 2013, purchased from CBL & Associates Properties. The mall closed due to Hurricane Michael and received major damages. It will not be reopening. However, a possible redevelopment of the site was proposed in July 2020 for a potential redevelopment for an open-air retail center with a hotel, residential apartments and office space much like Pier Park to the west in Panama City Beach
