Prince Bertil, Duke of Halland, was a member of the Swedish royal family. He was the third son of King Gustaf VI Adolf and his first wife, Princess Margaret of Connaught, as well as the uncle of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. From 1973 to 1979, he was heir presumptive to his nephew Carl XVI Gustaf and the Swedish throne.
The Royal Order of the Sword is a Swedish order of chivalry and military decoration created by King Frederick I of Sweden on 23 February 1748, together with the Order of the Seraphim and the Order of the Polar Star. The motto of the order is in Latin: Pro Patria.
The Royal Order of the Seraphim is a Swedish order of chivalry created by King Frederick I on 23 February 1748, together with the Order of the Sword and the Order of the Polar Star. The order has only one class with the dignity of Knight, and is the foremost order of Sweden.
The Royal Order of Vasa is a Swedish order of chivalry founded on 29 May 1772 by King Gustav III. It is awarded to Swedish citizens for service to state and society especially in the fields of agriculture, mining and commerce.
The Royal Order of the Polar Star, sometimes translated as the Royal Order of the North Star, is a Swedish order of chivalry created by King Frederick I on 23 February 1748, together with the Order of the Sword and the Order of the Seraphim. The Order of the Polar Star is intended as a reward for Swedish and foreign "civic merits, for devotion to duty, for science, literary, learned and useful works and for new and beneficial institutions".
Princess Mahisente Habte Mariam is the widow of Prince Sahle Selassie, youngest son of Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia. She is the daughter of Dejazmach Habte Mariam Gebre-Igziabiher, also referred as Kumsa Moroda heir to the former Welega Kingdom of Leqa Naqamte, and later served as governor of welega Province. Her mother was Woizero Yeshimebet Guma, granddaughter of Moti (King) Jote Tulu of Western Welega, Oromo. noblewoman who was later married to Ras Mesfin Selashi, a leading Ethiopian aristocrat and close associate of Emperor Haile Selassie. Princess Mahisente is also the mother of Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie, the current President of the Crown Council of Ethiopia.
Sten John Gustaf Rudholm was a Swedish lawyer, member of the Swedish Academy, former Chancellor of Justice, Chief Justice of Appeal and Marshal of the Realm. Rudholm was prior to his death the only living Swedish non-royal to have been made Knight of the Royal Order of the Seraphim – the foremost order of Sweden.
Knut Agathon Wallenberg was a Swedish banker and politician, he was also a Knight of the Order of the Seraphim. Wallenberg was Minister for Foreign Affairs 1914–1917, and member of the Riksdag's Första kammaren 1907–1919. Together with his wife, he created Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, which is one of the main contributors to the private university Stockholm School of Economics. Wallenberg was one of the founders of the Stockholm School of Economics, and is also seen as the founder of the community of Saltsjöbaden and an associated railroad.
Major General Johan August "Åge" Lundström was a Swedish Air Force officer and horse rider who competed in the 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics.
H. M. The King's Medal, earlier known as the Court Medal, is a Swedish honour that may be bestowed upon Swedish and foreign citizens. The medal was created in 1814 and is awarded in different sizes in gold and silver with chain or ribbon. This medal is not awarded in classes but in sizes. The 12th size is the largest and is worn around the neck on a chain or ribbon. The 8th and 5th size are worn from the left breast suspended by a ribbon, after the Seraphim Medal.
Lieutenant General Sven-Olof Olson was a senior Swedish Air Force officer. He served as Commanding General of the Southern Military District from 1980 to 1982 and as Chief of the Air Force from 1982 to 1988.
Marcus "Dodde" Wallenberg Jr., was a Swedish banker, business manager and member of the Swedish Wallenberg family. He was the most influential representative for the Swedish industrial tradition and Swedish business’ during the 20th century. He was the CEO of Stockholms Enskilda Bank 1946–1958 and during half a century – from the early 1930s until his death in 1982 – he led and reconstructed many of Sweden's largest companies. During World War II, Marcus, together with Erik Boheman, were appointed to conduct the Swedish trade negotiations.
The Seraphim Medal is a royal medal of Sweden. Established in 1748, it is awarded by the King of Sweden for service that benefits society or service of a humanitarian nature.
Admiral Wilhelm Dyrssen was a senior Swedish Navy officer. He served as minister for naval affairs from 1906 to 1907, and the Inspector of the Navy's Exercises at Sea from 1907 to 1916, as well as commander of the Stockholm Naval Station from 1916 to 1923.

Admiral Stig (Hansson) H:son Ericson was a Swedish Navy naval officer. He was Commander-in-Chief of the Coastal Fleet from 1950 to 1953 and the Chief of the Navy from 1953 to 1961. After retiring from the Navy in 1961, Ericson held court offices in the Royal Court of Sweden. He was First Marshal of the Court from 1962 to 1973 and Marshal of the Realm from 1966 to 1976.
Vice Admiral Frank Enver Rosenius is a retired Swedish Navy officer. Rosenius senior commands include Commander-in-Chief of the Coastal Fleet from 1994 to 1998 and Deputy Supreme Commander from 1998 to 2000. Rosenius also served as chief of the His Majesty's Military Staff from 2003 to 2007.
General Hemming Gadd was a Swedish Army officer. His senior commands included regimental commander of the 2nd Life Grenadier Regiment and Svea Life Guards, as well as commander of the 4th Army Division. Gadd served as Chief of His Majesty's Military Staff from 1905 to 1907.
