Di Gi Charat is a Japanese manga and anime series created by Koge-Donbo. The series follows a catgirl named Di Gi Charat "Dejiko" who was adopted as the mascot of Broccoli's retail chain store, Gamers. The original anime series and its original video animations (OVAs) are set in a Gamers store. There are twenty Gamers stores across Japan.
The Ultra Series, also known as Ultraman, is the collective name for all media produced by Tsuburaya Productions featuring Ultraman, his many brethren, and the myriad Ultra Monsters. Debuting with Ultra Q and then Ultraman in 1966, the Ultra Series is one of the most prominent tokusatsu superhero genre productions from Japan, along with Toei produced series Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and the Metal Heroes. The Ultra Series is also one of the most well known examples of the daikaiju genre, along with Toho's Godzilla series, and Daiei Film's Gamera series. However, the Ultra Series also falls into the kyodai hīro subgenre of tokusatsu shows.
Koge-Donbo* (こげどんぼ*), is a Japanese manga artist. Koge-Donbo* started her career soon after college as a doujinshi artist. She got the idea of a unique pen-name, Kobe-Donbo* from Akira Toriyama's pet cat. She made her first official US appearance at Otakon 2004 in Baltimore, MD as a Guest of Honor. Before that, she appeared at the AnimeGamers USA retail store in Los Angeles, California on July 7, 2002, for an autograph session promoting her Chocola 2001 artbook. She returned for another autograph session at the same store on August 3, 2004. She was a Guest of Honor at Anime Expo 2006, presenting the world premiere of the new Di Gi Charat animation series.

Her debut single was Be My Angel the opening theme of the 2001 anime Angelic Layer. She was affiliated with talent agency 81 Produce until 2015. Her former husband is voice actor Mark Ishii. In 2018, she discussed harassment in the industry and how she desperately wanted to quit in her first years as a voice actress.
Studio Hibari, Inc. is a Japanese animation studio founded in July 1979 by Hiroyoshi Mitsunobu and his wife Sachiko. In 1985 Hiroyoshi Mitsunobu fell ill and Sachiko Mitsunobu was appointed president. During that time Seiji Mitsunobu was appointed CEO.

Mitsuo Hashimoto is a Japanese storyboard artist and director of television, OVA, and anime films. He previously worked under 橋本 光夫, but changed as someone else was using that name. While he was under contract with Toei Animation, he also did work for other companies under the name Genjūrō Tachibana.
