Her crew of six survived. Salvage attempts failed and she was abandoned. Her wreck lies in 0 to 7 feet (0.0 to 2.1 m) of water at 43°47.110′N087°42.635′W / 43.785167°N 87.710583°W / 43.785167; -87.710583 (Ahnapee) in the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary. CanopusFlag of the German Empire.svg  Germany The ship was sighted in the Atlantic Ocean whilst on a voyage from the River Tyne to Anjer, Netherlands East Indies. No further trace, reported missing. [9]

Venetia was on a voyage from London to Genoa, Italy. [13] [14]
UnnamedCivil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom The smack foundered in Fishguard Bay with the loss of all hands. [15]

Knight of the CrossCivil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom The tug struck the Long Craig Rock, in the Firth of Forth and was beached at North Queensferry, Fife. [16] Following temporary repairs, she was refloated and taken in to Granton, Lothian. [17]

Survivors were rescued by Strathesk. Cæsarea was on a voyage from Southampton, Hampshire to Saint-Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine, France. [25] [26]
