ZacharieFlag of France.svg France The brig collided with a steamship and sank off the Cape Finisterre, Spain. Two of her crew were reported missing. Survivors were rescued by the steamship Virginia (Civil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom ). [7]

Survivors were rescued by Toward. Harold was on a voyage from Bilbao, Spain to the River Tyne. Toward was on a voyage from London to Plymouth, Devon.
