The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (Dutch : Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat; I&W) is the Dutch Ministry responsible for transport, aviation, public works, land management and water resource management. The Ministry was created in 2010 as the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment following the merger of the Ministry of Transport and Water Management and the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment. In 2017, the Ministry was renamed the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and the responsibilities for environmental policy and climate change policy were transferred to the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management (Dutch : Minister van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat) is the head of the Ministry and a member of the Cabinet of the Netherlands. The current Minister is Barry Madlener, serving since July 2024.

While primarily associated with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, PBL's expertise is also sought by other government departments, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The research fields include sustainable development, energy and climate change, biodiversity, transport, land use, and air quality. It is one of three applied policy research institutes of the Dutch government, the other two being Centraal Planbureau (CPB), and The Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP). Since January 2023 Marko Hekkert is director of the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency.

The Ministry was created in 1935 and in 2010 the department was merged with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and was named the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation. The Ministry was reinstated in 2017 as the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality; it is headed by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature, a member of the Cabinet of the Netherlands. Sharon Alida Maria Dijksma is a Dutch politician serving as Mayor of Utrecht since 2020. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), she was previously a State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science from 2007 to 2010, at the Ministry of Economic Affairs from 2012 to 2015 and at the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment from 2015 to 2017, as well as an alderwoman of Amsterdam from 2018 until 2020.

Rijkswaterstaat, founded in 1798 as the Bureau voor den Waterstaat and formerly translated to Directorate General for Public Works and Water Management, is a Directorate-General of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands. The Keeten-Mastgat is a body of water in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It used to be an estuary of the Rhine and Meuse rivers, but today it is only connected to the Oosterschelde. It still receives some water from its former tributaries, but only when the Krammer-Volkerak receives too much water from the Hollands Diep.

The Krammer is a body of fresh water located in the western part of Volkerak in the Netherlands.
