Miss Russia 2007 the 16th edition of the Miss Russia pageant, was held on December 14, 2007 at Gostinom Yard, Moscow, Russia. Tatiana Kotova of Rostov-on-Don crowned her successor Ksenia Sukhinova of Tyumen as the new Miss Russia. Riyo Mori and Zhang Zilin participated in the event. Ksenia Sukhinova competed in the Miss World 2008 pageant, and was crowned the winner. Although she was not the winner of the national pageant, the Miss Russia organization decided to send the first runner-up, Vera Krasova, to the Miss Universe 2008 pageant held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, where she made it to the top five finalists. Miss Perú is the national beauty pageant of the republic of Peru. The contest gathers participants from all over the nation, including Peruvian women representing their community overseas. Having been broadcast by all the major television networks in the country during its history, the pageant is currently broadcast by América Televisión. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes by sponsors.
Miss Universe 2008 was the 57th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008. This was the first time that the Miss Universe pageant was broadcast in 1080i High-definition.
Miss World 2008, the 58th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 13 December 2008 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. Originally, the pageant was going to take place in Kyiv, Ukraine, but because of the ongoing 2008 Russo-Georgian diplomatic crisis in neighbouring South Ossetia, the Miss World Organization decided to move the pageant away from Eastern Europe. 109 contestants from all over the world compete for the crown, the second highest turnout in the 59 years of the pageant. Zhang Zilin of China crowned Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia as the brand new Miss World.

Patricia Yurena Rodríguez Alonso is a Spanish model, actress, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Spain 2008 and then Miss Universe Spain 2013. She represented Spain at Miss World 2008, where she placed in the top fifteen, and at Miss Universe 2013, where she was the first runner-up, becoming the highest-placing Spanish delegate since Teresa Sánchez López was first runner-up at Miss Universe 1985, and after Amparo Muñoz won the title in 1974.

Miss World 2009, the 59th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 12 December 2009 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. 112 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown, marking the biggest turnout in the pageant's history. Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia crowned her successor Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar at the end of event. It is the first time that someone from Gibraltar won Miss World. In the past, people from mainland Britain have won.
Gabrielle Walcott is a Trinidadian artist, model, charity worker and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Trinidad and Tobago 2008 and placed as the second runner-up in Miss World 2008. She is also titleholder of Miss World Beauty with a Purpose 2008, Miss World Caribbean 2008, and Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe 2011. She represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in São Paulo but was unplaced. Gabrielle resides in Petit Valley, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. She is of mixed Carib, Indian, Portuguese, Chinese and English descent
Vera Krasova is a Russian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She competed in the 2007 Miss Russia pageant on December 14 where she represented Moscow. Vera made it to the top-3 contestants and placed as the 1st runner-up to the eventual winner Ksenia Sukhinova. Although she wasn't the winner of the national pageant, Miss Russia organization decided to send her to Miss Universe 2008 pageant held in Nha Trang, Vietnam. She reached the top 5 and placed 3rd runner-up, and was the only top 5 contestant to not be from Latin America. This was the first time Russia finished in the Top 5 of Miss Universe since Oxana Fedorova in 2002.
Miss World 2010, the 60th anniversary of the Miss World pageant, was held on 30 October 2010 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China after Vietnam backed out of the hosting contract. 115 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar crowned her successor Alexandria Mills of the United States at end of the event.
Miss Russia 2010 the 18th edition of the Miss Russia pageant, was held in Barvikha Luxury Village Concert Hall in Moscow on 6 March 2010. 51 contestants from all over Russia competed for the crown. Sofia Rudieva of Saint Petersburg crowned her successor, Irina Antonenko of Yekaterinburg, at the end of the event. Stefania Fernandez and Kaiane Aldorino participated in the event.
Miss World 2011, the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 6 November 2011 at the Earls Court Two in London, United Kingdom. As part of the events, the contestants also travelled to Edinburgh, Scotland between 23 and 27 October. Alexandria Mills of the United States crowned her successor Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela at the end of the event, she is the sixth Venezuelan woman to win Miss World - currently tied with India for the most wins in the competition's history. Although over 120 delegates were expected to compete, problems regarding the timely acquisition of visas prevented several candidates from participating, thus reducing the final number to 113. Miss World 2011 was viewed by over 1 billion people worldwide.
Miss World 2015, the 65th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 19 December 2015 at the outdoor arena of the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. 114 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Rolene Strauss of South Africa crowned her successor Mireia Lalaguna of Spain at the end of the event. It was the first time in the history of Miss World that Spain won the pageant.
Miss Russia 2016 the 24th edition of the Miss Russia pageant, was held in concert hall Barvikha Luxury Village in Moscow on 16 April 2016. Fifty contestants from around Russia competed for the crown. Sofia Nikitchuk of Yekaterinburg crowned her successor, Yana Dobrovolskaya of Tyumen at the end of the event. The winner represented Russia at Miss World 2016 while the 1st Runner-Up competed at Miss Universe 2016 pageants.
Miss Russia 2015 the 23rd edition of the Miss Russia pageant, was held on April 18, 2015 at the Bravikha Luxury Village Concert Hall, where fifty contestants from different oblasts competed for the crown. The winner Sofia Nikitchuk from Yekaterinburg was crowned.
Miss Russia 2017 the 25th edition of the Miss Russia pageant, was held in concert hall Barvikha Luxury Village in Moscow on 15 April 2017. Fifty contestants from around Russia competed for the crown. Yana Dobrovolskaya of Tyumen crowned her successor Polina Popova of Sverdlovsk Oblast at the end of the event. The pageant was hosted by Miss Russia 2003 Victoria Lopyreva and Maxim Privalov, and featured guest performances from Elka, Stas Piekha, Nyusha, Ani Lorak, and Dmitry Malikov.
Miss Russia 2018 the 26th edition of the Miss Russia pageant, held in concert hall Barvikha Luxury Village in Moscow on 14 April 2018. Fifty contestants from around Russia competed for the crown. Polina Popova of Sverdlovsk Oblast crowned her successor Yulia Polyachikhina of Chuvashia at the end of the event. The competition was hosted by Maxim Privalov and Vera Krasova.
