Miss Universe Russia 2006, was held on February 21, 2006, at Gostiny Dvor Arcade. 100 women competed at the pageant where Anna Litvinova won representing the Novokuznetsk. This contest was made specifically to send a candidate to the Miss Universe for that same year. Candidates from all the Russian regions and cities came to compete for the title. This was the last occasion on which the Miss Universe Russia organization sent a candidate.

Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant that is run by a United States and Thailand based Miss Universe Organization. It is one of the most watched pageants in the world with an estimated audience of over 500 million viewers in over 190 territories. Along with Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth, Miss Universe is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
The Miss Venezuela is the national beauty pageant of Venezuela, traditionally held in September. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes. The Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2021 edition, its winners represent Panama in Miss International and Miss Supranational.
