Miss Russia 2012, the 20th edition of the Miss Russia pageant, was held in a concert hall Barvikha Luxury Village in Moscow on 3 March 2012. [1] 50 contestants from all over the Russia competed for the crown. Natalia Gantimurova of Moscow crowned her successor Elizaveta Golovanova of Smolensk, at the end of the event. Leila Lopes and Ivian Sarcos participated in the event.

Miss World 2013, the 63rd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 28 September 2013 at Bali International Convention Center, South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. It was the first time in Southeast Asia and it also was the first time in the pageant's history that the event was held in a Muslim majority country. Contestants from 127 countries and territories competed in this year's Miss World pageant, marking the biggest turnout for any beauty pageant globally as of 2024. Yu Wenxia of China crowned her successor Megan Young of the Philippines at the end of the event, marking the only time to date that the Philippines has won the Miss World title. Miss Russia 2016 the 24th edition of the Miss Russia pageant, was held in concert hall Barvikha Luxury Village in Moscow on 16 April 2016. Fifty contestants from around Russia competed for the crown. Sofia Nikitchuk of Yekaterinburg crowned her successor, Yana Dobrovolskaya of Tyumen at the end of the event. The winner represented Russia at Miss World 2016 while the 1st Runner-Up competed at Miss Universe 2016 pageants.

Sanko represented Russia at the Miss World 2019 pageant where she placed Top 12, and also represented Russia at Miss Universe 2020 pageant, where she unplaced.
