Netherlands at the Men's T20 World Cup

The Netherlands national cricket team is one of the associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Out of the nine edition of the tournament that have been held, the team has participated in six editions. They qualified for their first T20 World Cup in 2009, but failed to make it to the next two editions. They made their reappearance at the tournament in 2014 and have qualified for every edition since then.

The best performance of the Dutch came in 2022 when they finished in top 8 and earned a direct qualification for the 2024 edition. They have a win–loss record of 10–16 from 27 matches.

The Netherlands men's national cricket team, usually referred as "The Flying Dutchmen" is a team that represents the Netherlands in men's international cricket and is administered by the Royal Dutch Cricket Association.

Pieter Marinus Seelaar is a Dutch cricketer and a former captain of the national team. He is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox spin bowler. Having played for the Netherlands at the Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 levels, he made his senior debut in a C&G Trophy game against Warwickshire on 3 May 2005. He then played in the ICC Trophy later that year. He made his One Day International debut against Sri Lanka on 6 July 2006. Two years later, Seelaar made his Twenty20 International debut.

The Dutch cricket team toured Canada during the 2007 season. Two One Day Internationals were played, preceded by a First-class match, which was a part of the 2007-08 ICC Intercontinental Cup. The Dutch team won the First-class match by 45 runs, and won the ODI series 1-0: winning the first match by 117 runs, with the second being rained off.

Cricket has been played in the Netherlands since at least the 19th century, and in the 1860s was considered a major sport in the country. The sport is governed by the Royal Dutch Cricket Association.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Timm van der Gugten</span> Dutch cricketer

Timm van der Gugten is an Australian–Dutch international cricketer who made his debut for the Netherlands national team in January 2012. He was born in Australia, and has also played for several teams in Australian domestic cricket.

Stephanus Johannes Myburgh is a Dutch-South African cricketer who has played at One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) level for the Netherlands national side. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm offbreak bowler.

Benjamin Nicolas Cooper is an Australian–Dutch cricketer. He played for the Netherlands in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. In January 2022, Cooper announced his retirement from international cricket.

Vivian Jilling Kingma is a Dutch cricketer. He played for the Netherlands in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. He was initially selected in the Netherlands squad for the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament in July 2015, but was replaced by Roelof van der Merwe. He made his Twenty20 International debut against Scotland on 5 February 2016.

Logan Verjus van Beek is a New Zealand-Dutch cricketer. He has played for the Netherlands national cricket team since 2012 and represents Wellington in New Zealand domestic cricket. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm fast-medium.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2015–2017 ICC World Cricket League Championship</span> International cricket tournament

The 2015–2017 ICC World Cricket League Championship was the second edition of the ICC World Cricket League Championship. It took place from 2015 until 2017, in parallel with the 2015-17 ICC Intercontinental Cup. Both Ireland and Afghanistan had been promoted to the main ICC ODI Championship and did not compete in this tournament. Instead, Kenya and Nepal were included in the tournament. The tournament was played in a round-robin format. All matches were recorded as List A matches, and those in which both teams had ODI status were also recorded as ODIs.

Maxwell Patrick O'Dowd is a New Zealand-born Dutch international cricketer who made his debut for the Netherlands national cricket team in June 2015. He is a right-handed opening batsman and has played for the Netherlands in three editions of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Bastiaan Franciscus Wilhelmus de Leede is a Dutch cricketer. He comes from a cricketing family and his father, Tim de Leede, too played for the Netherlands, in 29 One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Scott Andrew Edwards is a Dutch cricketer who represents the Netherlands. He made his first-class debut for the Netherlands against Namibia in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 29 November 2017. He made his List A debut against Namibia in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 8 December 2017. In June 2022, Edwards was named as the new captain of the Dutch cricket team, after Pieter Seelaar was forced to retire from international cricket due to a long-term back injury. Edwards is the Netherlands' seventh ODI captain.

The 2018 Netherlands Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament, that took place in June 2018 in the Netherlands. It was a tri-nation series between Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland, with all the matches played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). The intention was that the tri-series will become an annual event for the three teams.

The Zimbabwe cricket team toured the Netherlands in June 2019 to play two One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The two teams last faced each other in an ODI match at the 2003 Cricket World Cup, with Zimbabwe winning by 99 runs. The last time the two sides played a T20I match against each other was during the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 tournament, with Zimbabwe winning by five wickets.

Shariz Ahmad is a Dutch cricketer. He has played for the Netherlands national cricket team since 2022. He is a right-arm leg spin bowler.

The Namibia national cricket team is one of the associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), they are nicknamed as the Eagles. The team qualified for their first T20 World Cup in 2021, after finishing at 4th position in the 2019 qualifier, they have qualified for tournament three times in a row since then. In three editions that they have contested, the team has 4 wins in 11 matches.
