Scotland Yard is a metonym for the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police, the territorial police force responsible for policing all 32 boroughs of London, excluding the City of London.

The Bakerloo line is a London Underground line that runs between Harrow & Wealdstone in suburban north-west London and Elephant & Castle in south London, via the West End. Coloured brown on the Tube map, it serves 25 stations, of which 15 are below ground, over 14.4 miles (23.2 km). It runs partly on the surface and partly at deep level.
The Jubilee line is a London Underground line that runs between Stratford in east London and Stanmore in the suburban north-west, via the Docklands, South Bank and West End. Opened in 1979, it is the newest line on the network, although some sections of track date back to 1932 and some stations to 1879.
The Northern line is a London Underground line that runs from south-west to north-west London, with two branches through central London and three in north London. It runs northwards from its southern terminus at Morden in the borough of Merton to Kennington in Southwark, where it divides into two central branches, one via Charing Cross in the West End and the other via Bank in the City. The central branches re-join at Camden Town where the line again divides into two branches, one to High Barnet and the other to Edgware in the borough of Barnet. The High Barnet branch has an additional single-station spur at Finchley Central with a shuttle train to Mill Hill East.
The Piccadilly line is a London Underground line that runs between Cockfosters in suburban north London and Acton Town in the west, where it divides into two branches: one of these runs to Heathrow Airport and the other to Uxbridge in northwest London, with some services terminating at Rayners Lane.
The EC postcode area, also known as the London EC postal area, is a group of postcode districts in central London, England. It includes almost all of the City of London and parts of the London Boroughs of Islington, Camden, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Westminster. The area covered is of very high density development. Deliveries for the EC postcode area are made from Mount Pleasant Mail Centre.
Merthyr Mawr is a village and community in Bridgend, Wales. The village is about 2½ miles from the centre of Bridgend town. The population of the community at the 2011 census was 267. The community occupies the area west of the Ewenny River, between Bridgend and Porthcawl. It takes in the settlement of Tythegston and a stretch of coastal sand dunes known as Merthyr Mawr Warren. It is in the historic county of Glamorgan.
The Crumlin railway stations historically served the town of Crumlin, South Wales. Both stations are now closed and no longer exist.
Shuswap Lake Marine Provincial Park is an 896-hectare provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, comprising 991 ha. The Park has a variety of amenities including boat launch ramps, picnic areas, and 27 campsites around the perimeter of Shuswap Lake. The lake's name and that of the surrounding Shuswap Country is from the Shuswap people (Secwepemc), the most northern of the Salishan speaking people.
Aberthaw Cement Works are cement works in the Vale of Glamorgan near the village of Aberthaw in Wales.
The A307 road runs 13.2 miles (21.2 km) through SW London and NW Surrey. It is primary at the north-east end; the remainder is non-primary, generally superseded in the mid-twentieth century in two stages by newer alignments of the Portsmouth Road, the Kingston bypass and Esher bypass of the A3, which runs along a slightly oblique axis.
The A433 road is an A road and primary route in Gloucestershire, England. It starts at a junction with the A46 at Dunkirk (51.5754°N 2.3017°W), 5 miles (8.0 km) north of junction 18 of the M4 and 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of Chipping Sodbury. It runs northeast for 16.5 miles (26.6 km) to a junction with the A429 just west of Cirencester (51.7011°N 2.0006°W). On its way to Cirencester the road passes the spectacular Westonbirt Arboretum, and runs through the villages of Westonbirt and Doughton, and the town of Tetbury; then to the north of both Cotswold Airport and Kemble village.
SS Louis Sheid was a 6,057 ton Belgian steamer that ran aground off Devon after escaping U-47 following the rescue of the captain and crew of the freighter MV Tajandoen on 7 December 1939.
Crwys Road is a proposed railway station on the Rhymney line in Cardiff, in Wales. It is planned as part of the South Wales Metro. It is included in Transport for Wales' list of station openings which would see the station completed by December 2023.
Gabalfa is a proposed railway station which would be constructed on the Merthyr Line as part of the South Wales Metro. It is included as part of the Wales & Borders franchise and is planned to open in 2028.
