Newtown Township, also referred to by the name of its post office of Newtown Square, is a township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. Prior to 1789, it was part of Chester County. As of the 2020 census, the population was 15,002.

Newtown is a town in Powys, Wales. It lies on the River Severn in the community of Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn, within the historic boundaries of Montgomeryshire. It was designated a new town in 1967 and saw population growth as firms settled, changing its market town character. Its 2001 population of 10,780 rose to 11,357 in the 2011 census, and rose again to 11,362 in the 2021 census.

Newtownmountkennedy is a small town in County Wicklow, Ireland. It developed within the historic townland of Ballygarny, although all that remains is a motte where a church, graveyard and a castle or tower house once stood just 0.85 km (0.53 mi) north of the town. It acquired its present name in the mid-seventeenth-century, when Sir Robert Kennedy, M.P. for Kildare, made it his principal residence. It is just off the N11 road to Wexford, just south of Kilpedder and south-west of Greystones. It is about 15 km (9.3 mi) north of Wicklow town, 15 km (9.3 mi) south of Bray and approximately 35 km (22 mi) from Dublin. The R772 regional road passes through the village. This was the main Dublin-Wexford route, the N11, but the village was bypassed by the new N11 dual carriageway in 1990. This town has one of the longest place names in Ireland.

St. Francis Xavier Church and Newtown Manor House Historic District is the first county-designated historic district in Saint Mary's County, the "Mother County" of Maryland and is located in Compton, Maryland, near the county seat of Leonardtown. The district marks a location and site important in the 17th-century ecclesiastical history of Maryland, as an example of a self-contained Jesuit community made self-supporting by the surrounding 700-acre (2.8 km2) farm. The two principal historic structures were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. Archaeological remains associated with the site date back to the early colonial period, mid-17th century.

The Deanery of Cedewain is a deanery within the Archdeaconery of Montgomery in the Diocese of St Asaph. It is a large largely upland area between Welshpool and Newtown, which is cut across by the river Severn. It is first mentioned in the Lincoln Taxation of 1291. At that time it consisted of the parishes of Berriew, Bettws Cedewain, Manafon, Llanwyddelan, Tregynon, Newtown, Llanllwchaiarn, Llanmerewig, Llandyssil, and Aberhafesp. The Deanery was reconstituted by an Order in Council in 1849 and further changes in its boundaries occurred in 1882. In 1908 it consisted of eleven parishes: Aberhafesp, Bettws Cedewain, Dolfor, Kerry, Llandyssil, Llanllwchaiarn, Llanmerewig, Mochdre, Newtown, Sarn and Tregynon. For administrative purposes Llandyssil is now included in the Deanery of Pool.
