Llangynyw (also Llangyniew) is a hamlet and community in Montgomeryshire, Powys, mid Wales. It is located on a hill inside a bend in the River Banwy, approximately two miles north-east of Llanfair Caereinion. The community includes the hamlet of Pontrobert.
The focus of the hamlet is the Parish Church of St. Cynyw, which dates from between 1450 and 1500 and is a Grade II* listed building. [2]
The parish of Llangynyw had a population of 551 when the 1801 census was taken, 430 in 1901, and 295 in 1971, [3] increasing back to 582 at the 2011 census.
Pentre Camp, an Iron Age hillfort, is near the hamlet.
Theddlethorpe St Helen or East Theddlethorpe is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of the county of Lincolnshire, England. It lies about 3 miles (5 km) north of Mablethorpe on the North Sea coast. Some seashore belongs to Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve, consisting of sea dunes and saltwater and freshwater marshes. It is one of five UK locations where the natterjack toad is found. In 2011 the parish had a population of 525. The parish touches Gayton le Marsh, Mablethorpe and Sutton, Theddlethorpe All Saints and Withern with Stain. Theddlethorpe St Helen shares a parish council with Theddlethorpe All Saints.

East Cottingwith is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Cottingwith, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It lies on the former Derwent Navigation (canal), and approximately 9 miles (14 km) north-west of the market town of Howden and 7 miles (11 km) south-west of the market town of Pocklington. The village is 1 mile (1.6 km) west of the B1228 road and just east of the River Derwent. In 1931 the civil parish had a population of 185. The community includes the hamlets of Bylchau, Rhydgaled and Y Groes, and the lake Llyn Aled and reservoir Aled Isaf on Mynydd Hiraethog. Llansannan is in the traditional county of Denbighshire.

Millington is a civil parish in the Cheshire East district, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The parish is 8 miles (13 km) from Warrington and 3 miles (5 km) from Altrincham. Its name is a "relic of Saxon clanship – the ton or town of the Millings". The parish is primarily agricultural, with a number of farms including Moss House Farm, Newhall Farm, Mereside Farm, Boothbank Farm and Stonedelph Farm. Millington has been recently described on Britain Streets as a "hamlet or isolated settlement in inhabited countryside". Millington is situated within the market town Macclesfield. The M56 motorway is close to the parish, which allows travel into areas of Warrington and Manchester, 13 miles (21 km) and 14 miles (23 km) away respectively.
Dolbenmaen is a village and community in the Welsh county of Gwynedd, located in Eifionydd, of which it was the administrative centre until 1239. The community includes the villages of Bryncir, Cenin, Garndolbenmaen, Golan, Llanfihangel-y-Pennant, Penmorfa, Pentrefelin, Wern, Glan-dwyfach, and the hamlet of Prenteg.
