Pencarnisiog is a village in the community of Llanfaelog, Anglesey, Wales, which is 132.9 miles (213.8 km) from Cardiff and 218.5 miles (351.6 km) from London. [1]

There is a Welsh-medium primary school, Ysgol Gynradd Pencarnisiog, in the village, founded in 1911. [2] As of January 2018, the school had the second highest percentage of pupils (aged 5 and over) who spoke Welsh at home in Wales, at 95.6%. [3] In 2024, 89.8 per cent of pupils spoke Welsh at home. [4]

Llangwyryfon is a village and community in the county of Ceredigion, Wales. It lies on the B4576 about 8 miles to the south and east of Aberystwyth. The village lies in the valley of the River Wyre and contains the roadbridge where the B4576 crosses the Wyre downstream of which lies the confluence of the rivers Beidiog and the Wyre. The name Llangwyryfon derives from the tale of Saint Ursula to whom the village church is dedicated. Llan is Welsh for church and the gwyryfon are the 11,000 virgins along with whom Ursula was martyred.

Rhosybol is a village and community in Anglesey, Wales. The community population at the 2011 census was 1,078. Located 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south of the town of Amlwch, the village is close to both Llyn Alaw, the largest body of water on the island, and Parys Mountain, the site of the historic copper mines which lies just to the north. It is to the mines that the village owes its existence as it was one of several built to house the miners. During the 1960s noted painter Kyffin Williams produced an oil painting of the village.
