Operations

This division operates amusement parks and entertainment facilities at locations in North America, including such prominent locations as Forest Park and Fantasy Forest in New York, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway in Boston, and the Seaglass Carousel in New York to name a few. [11]

Ride Entertainment is the attraction industry's largest provider of revenue share attractions, working with amusement parks, zoos, water parks and other facilities. [12]

Installations

This division installs, maintains and rehabilitates amusement rides from manufacturers around the world. The company has worked with many different park groups, including Six Flags, Cedar Fair and OCT. [13]

SkyCoaster®

SkyCoaster® has over 75 locations worldwide and was operated as a wholly owned division of ThrillTime Entertainment International. [14] In 2005, SkyCoaster, Inc. as well as ThrillTime's other amusement ride, Top Eliminator, [14] were sold to Ride Entertainment. [15] This was followed in 2006 by a reverse merger transaction where ThrillTime was acquired by Advanced Proteome Therapeutics. [16]

Skycoaster is an amusement park ride produced and managed by Skycoaster Company, LLC.. On the Skycoaster, riders in groups of 1 to 3 are harnessed in specialized Flight Suits, winched to the top of a launch tower, pull the ripcord to engage flight, swing from a cable tether back and forth until brought to a rest. The attraction is often compared to a combination of skydiving, bungee jumping, and hang gliding.

Fairly Odd Coaster is a spinning roller coaster themed to The Fairly OddParents that opened on March 15, 2004, at Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America. Individual cars have two rows facing each other and each car spins independently throughout the course of the ride. The ride is geared toward families. The ride was installed by Ride Entertainment Group, who handles all of Gerstlauer's operations in the Western Hemisphere.

Mystery Mine is a steel roller coaster located at Dollywood amusement park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Manufactured by Gerstlauer, the Euro-Fighter model is heavily themed as a haunted mining operation from the 19th century. The roller coaster was Dollywood's largest single investment in the park's history at the time, costing $17.5 million to construct. A large portion of the track is located indoor, where the ride utilizes a series of special effects. It was the first Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter installation in the United States and had the steepest drop of any coaster in North America at the time of its opening. The ride was installed by Ride Entertainment Group, who handles all of Gerstlauer's operations in the Western Hemisphere.

The Euro-Fighter is a type of steel roller coaster developed by Gerstlauer. First launched in 2003, the trademark feature of the roller coaster is its beyond-vertical drop, which reaches an angle greater than 90 degrees. Although the majority of Euro-Fighters are custom designed for each installation, every design so far has included the trademark drop. A number of different track elements are possible, including vertical loops, diving loops and barrel rolls. Almost all Euro-Fighter models have a vertical chain-driven lift hill, although LSM launch systems are also available.

The TMNT Shellraiser is a steel indoor roller coaster at Nickelodeon Universe amusement park, within the American Dream Meadowlands shopping and entertainment complex, at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. The roller coaster is a Euro-Fighter model manufactured by Gerstlauer, and themed to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). It is the steepest roller coaster in the world with a vertical drop of 121.5 degrees. The TMNT Shellraiser has the exact same layout as Takabisha at Fuji-Q Highland in Japan, the previous record holder for world's steepest roller coaster.

The coaster is located indoors and launches riders both forwards and backwards through a compact layout.

Adrenaline Peak is a steel roller coaster at Oaks Amusement Park, just south of Portland, Oregon. The ride replaced the Pinfari Looping Thunder coaster in the park's South End, which closed after the 2017 season. The coaster was manufactured by Gerstlauer and is one of their Euro-Fighter coasters, containing three inversions and a vertical lift hill.

Rewind Racers is a steel shuttle family roller coaster at Adventure City in Stanton, California. The attraction replaced the vintage Tree Top Racers, which had closed in 2012, and opened on June 6, 2015. Upon opening, it became the first family shuttle coaster in North America, and remains a unique attraction in the United States today.

Defiance is a steel roller coaster located at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The coaster straddles the Iron Mountain and is located some 1,300 feet (400 m) above the town of Glenwood Springs, and approximately 7,132 feet (2,174 m) above sea level, making it the highest roller coaster in the United States.
