Sciola Missionary Baptist Church, also known as Sciola Community Church, is a historic church located in Sciola, Iowa, United States. It is the only building left from the former town, and a rare example of an early Iowa frame church building. [2] The Sciola Post Office was established in 1855, and was the first one established in Montgomery County. [2] The village was composed of a few stores, the church, and the post office.
The Baptist congregation was founded in January 1869 with nine families. They bought land from member John Yergey in June 1871, and they dedicated their small frame church on June 30, 1872. It cost them $1,600 to build it. They bought land from Yergey in 1882 for a cemetery. The Baptist congregation remained here until 1929. The church building was used for a variety of community functions until it was rededicated as the Sciola Community Church in 1946. It continued to be used for community functions and elections. The church was relocated in 1970, and the township took over ownership of the building in 1980. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
St. John's Baptist Church is a historic church in Miami, Florida. It is located at 1328 Northwest 3rd Avenue. On April 17, 1992, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic African American congregation and building in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. The congregation was established in 1868 mostly by free people of color from the south and the rest from the north. James W. Howard, a member of the congregation, bought property in a recent addition to the city and sold the southern half to the church for $50. This white frame church was built on the property the same year. Iowa City has always had a small African American community and over the years the congregation grew and declined in numbers and in finances. The original church, which is 600 square feet (56 m2) and has room for 50 people, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. The congregation outgrew the small church and a new 4,000-square-foot (370 m2) sanctuary was built in 2010 that holds three times the current congregation's size.
The Former Free Will Baptist Church is a historic church building at 12 High Street in Milo, Maine. It is home to the Milo Historical Society Museum. Built in 1853, this wood-frame structure was Milo's first church, shared initially by Baptist and Free Will Baptist congregations before becoming the exclusive property of the latter. It has served as the local history museum since 1996. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
Florona Grange No. 540 Hall is a historic Grange hall and former church on Monkton Road in Monkton, Vermont. Built in 1811 as the Monkton Borough Baptist Church, it is the second-oldest church in Addison County. it is a fine example of Federal architecture with later Greek Revival additions. Its initial design is based closely on designs published by Asher Benjamin. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
Chapel Hill Bible Church, formerly Amity Baptist Church, is a Baptist house of worship located off Bingham Road near Marlboro, New York, United States. It is a small wooden building in the Picturesque mode of the Gothic Revival architectural style dating to the mid-19th century. In 2005 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the southernmost property on the Register in Ulster County.

The cathedral is located on the bluff overlooking Downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. Completed in 1873, Trinity is one of the oldest cathedrals in the Episcopal Church in the United States. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. In 1983 the cathedral was included as a contributing property in the College Square Historic District, which is also listed on the National Register.

Franklin Regular Baptist Church, also known simply as Franklin Baptist Church, is a historic church building located southeast of Seymour in rural Appanoose County, Iowa, United States. The white frame church is associated with the no longer extant village of Livingston and its founder Livingston Parker. Parker was an Upstate New York native who relocated to Ohio before homesteading in Appanoose County in 1854. The Baptist Society was formed in Franklin Township on April 12, 1862, in the home of Peter Angle. Livingston Parker served as moderator for most of the community's Covenant Meetings before he was ordained and called as a circuit preacher for churches in Exline, Iowa, St. John, Missouri, and Livingston. The congregation in Livingston met in member homes until it was able to raise the money to complete the church building in 1881. The church originally faced a road, but the county built 135th Avenue behind the church in the 1950s. The congregation remained in existence until 1967. The church building began to deteriorate until 1999 when the local cemetery association began to look after it. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Richmond Town Hall is the town hall of Richmond, New Hampshire, United States. Built in 1780, and originally used for both civic and religious purposes, it is one of the oldest meeting houses in the state. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
The former Second Baptist Church is a historic building located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, United States. The First Colored Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, later Second Baptist Church, was founded in the summer of 1863 by members of First Baptist Church for the education and worship of the community's African American population. The congregation is also referred to as the "African Baptist Church". It is possible that this building was the original Methodist Episcopal church building constructed in 1843. It is believed that it was moved here in 1856 or 1857 for a newly established congregation of the Methodist Protestant Church. Either that or the main part of this small frame church was built here at that time. Regardless, the Methodist Protestant congregation did not succeed and the property was sold to First Baptist Church in January 1864 for use by the "Colored Baptist Church."

It was built in 1836 for a congregation established in 1785, and served the congregation regularly until 1945. It is now used as a community function space. It is a locally distinctive example of vernacular Gothic Revival architecture, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
