Parkwood is a neighborhood located in the Far Northeast section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The Keeper of the Register is a National Park Service (NPS) official, responsible for deciding on the eligibility of historic properties for inclusion on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The first to hold the office was William J. Murtagh, whose term ran from 1967 through 1979. The Keeper's authority may be delegated as they see fit. The State Historic Preservation Officer for each state submits nominations to the Keeper. Upon receipt, the Keeper has 45 days to decide whether to add the property to the NRHP.
The Grecian Shelter, designated a Croquet Shelter on the original plans of Prospect Park, is also referred to as the Prospect Park Peristyle or Peristyle. The building, a peristyle with Corinthian columns, is situated near the southern edge of Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York. Constructed by McKim, Mead and White in 1905, this peristyle was built on the site of the 1860s-era Promenade Drive Shelter along the southwest shore of the Prospect Park Lake. The Prospect Park Peristyle is designed in the Renaissance architectural style. It consists of a raised platform located two steps above ground level; the platform is covered by a rectangular colonnade with 28 Corinthian marble columns, each with square piers. An entablature of terracotta runs atop the structure. The building was constructed as a temporary refuge from rain and sun.

She went on to be the president and CEO of Dr. Day Care, and she founded the Business Owners of Child Care Association of Rhode Island (BOCA) in 2011. Shallcross Smith was also the chairperson of the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce in 2016.

It was built about 1885, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, five-bay, frame house constructed in a vernacular Victorian style. It has a three bay by two bay rear wing. The house features a three bay, wood porch on the front facade and a gable roof with dormers.
Sereck Shallcross House, also known as Oakland, is a historic home located near Odessa, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1842, and is 2+1⁄2-story, five bay, brick dwelling with a flat roof. It is "L"-shaped, with a two-story rear wing added in the 1880s. The design is influenced by the Greek Revival, Italianate, and Georgian styles.
